C'est aussi une école de danse idéalement située sur les quais de Saône au cœur du centre-ville de Lyon, là ou il fait bon vivre sur les terrasses, entre la célèbre place des Terreaux et face au quartier du Vieux Lyon. Dans ses murs, la compagnie partage sa passion pour cette danse enflammée. D'accès facile, l'école est ouverte à tous quels que soient le niveau, l'âge et l'origine. Débutants ou danseurs chevronnés ont donc ici leur place pour pratiquer la discipline en toute convivialité dans le pur esprit andalou. Les cours qui peuvent accueillir une vingtaine de danseurs se déroulent du lundi au vendredi soir ainsi que le samedi après-midi et sont scindés en 2 niveaux. Being in Lyon my husband and I knew we had to try French cooking from the legend and his institution. Sure the place had a mix of younger somewhat friendly waiters and more grumpy posh older waiters, but it was fun to experience French service at its pique. We ordered the fish and it was so delicate with its crispy flaky outside and perfectly moist fish. The appetizers, to the cheese trolley, to dessert trolley, and fine chocolate at the end. It literally blew us away. You definitely eat so much and that's not what I would have guessed from a Michelin star restaurant so I was very happy at the end! There were three of us, and we each tried to get different dishes so that we could see a more holistic picture of the restaurants offerings. I got the appetizer veal with leek, entree duck breast and dessert roasted pineapple. I'd say that the appetizer and dessert were 5/5 in taste, and all three dishes were 5/5 in presentation and execution. The duck was juicy and well done but for me there were a bit too many sweet and sour things surrounding it, such as a pickled leek and sweet turnip mash. It didn't seem well balanced I loved the roasted pineapple, it was extremely juicy and the slight char gave it a nice bitter taste to complement the sweetness. Plus the sorbet on top added a whole new level to it. I've attached the meals of the other two in my party. They got appetizer- prawns and tuna, meal - lamb and meagre (fish), and dessert- macaron and la praline. Everyone loved the meal and we wanted to come back, except today was the last day they are open until the school holidays!!
