However, the company called and informed me the tour has been cancelled and my money will be refunded. Unfortunately , this is not true. The refund never happened. I tried emailing them and Fiona insisted the amount was never charged and they closed their account. I contacted Visa and they informed me the charge definitely went through but I have to wait 15 days before I can dispute. I waited 15 days and email Ozzie Mate and they simply ignored me. I felt I have been a victim of fraud and I am waiting for Visa to sort this out. Terrible experience.

French island tours is run by a couple Lois and Keith…read more Together they provide bus transfer around the island, walking tour, bike rental and camping site. Expect serious old school facilities ( very basic) Cranckly old bus compete with all the expected charms and rusts. Be warned this is no luxury and island's facility in general is very basic. No wifi or reception in most places , one general store/ post office. Nevertheless attracts some budding fisherman. ( actually mainly tradies on their way in and out of the island. I have no idea what else they do here) If you still have your eyes set on visiting French Island though, then yes give these guys a ring and they'll be happy to offer lots of stories on their tours.
