I warned her that my hair is tough to hold curls so she said was going to do a soft hollywood glam instead. She showed me a picture but mine looked nothing like it. I had to have it redone by another bridesmaid. Because there was so much hairspray, it was tough to make it look right. I wanted to cry. It also set me back because we had to be ready for pictures not too long after they finished. However, the makeup artist did AMAZING! She seem nice and professional but boy was I in for a surprise. The entire experience was a nightmare. The week before the big day, the people that were supposed to do my hair and make up, suddenly changed and were not confirmed until two days before my wedding. I was supposed to have 3 people, but she changed it to 2 since one girl could no longer make it for reasons that were never explained to me. The only person of contact I had was Shira's and the two girls who are doing our hair and make up had none of our phone numbers. Shira told me this NEVER HAPPENS which I thought was funny because the make up girl told me that they never have the contact info but nothing like this had ever happened before... and here's what happened-They arrived at the wrong place and had no way of contacting myself or anyone else in the wedding party. Shira ignored each and every one of my calls before finally responding with a TEXT MESSAGE two hours late. I guess she couldn't be bothered while on vacation with her friends who all were out of town to go to a Drake concert(discovered per her Instagram). The make up girl arrived, in tears, with the hair professional shortly behind. The hair lady spoke hardly any English and was extremely unprofessional. She used actual rubber bands in two of my bridesmaids hair, one of which we actually had the cut off an entire piece to remove. I had also composed a very long email with all of mine, and my bridesmaids, hairstyles that we had each picked out... she handed my a book of styles that I could choose from(none of them were the one I wanted) and they had not a single one of my pictures I had sent and I couldn't even explain this because there was too much of a language barrier(to the point that I couldn't even tell this lady where I wanted my hair parted). On top of that, the make up lady had a broken light when she arrived. She could barley see us while painting our faces and kept putting my eyelashes on wonky as hell. One of my bridesmaids had her eyelashes fall off and the other opted for none after seeing the problems we were having. My mother was the last to go and arrived at the venue 2.5 hours after we were supposed to be there which threw off the ceremony and all the group photographs I had planned. So, big shout out to this company for (almost) ruining what should have been the best day of my life, so Shira could go party with her friends and steal 75% of my money. In the end I did receive a partial refund after a very long phone conversation which started with Shira acting completely oblivious to the trauma I had dealt with. I recieved my $420 deposit back which was literally THE LEAST THEY COULD DO after spending $1980 for services. I asked for half back when she asked how she could fix the problem, which I thought seemed reasonable since I tipped both of the girls over 20% and tried to be understanding since it wasn't their fault, it was the business owners. She said $420 and a lackluster apology was the best she could do. Bad vibes. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
