The hosts were welcoming and helpful explaining the daily specials in their best if limited English and provided English menus. The restaurant itself is quite striking inside with a high stone arch ceiling and well executed decor. The food leans heavily to seafoods of course. It was high quality and substantial portions. I felt bad about not being able to finish my swordfish and my in laws struggled to finish their plates. The kids loved their selections as well as they chocolate cake. The wine list was very good with quite a few local varieties. All in all this place felt a step above the other spots in the tourist ghetto along the waterfront and I would be happy to go back.

It's near the shore, but not on it so I can see how it would get missed or looked over; there is just so much to choose from. I found it to be awesome and if you get the formula meal then you'll eat like a KING for little money. Try all their different sauces! We went with 4 adults and all got different mussels so we could sample more varieties ... that worked well! The address is a little screwy as the name is said to be their address but according to the official city site for Palavas the address for the restaurant is actually their other street (they are on the corner). If you want to get in on the weekend, MAKE A RESERVATION! Closed on Sundays and Mondays for lunch.
