Fast forward a couple years and I became pregnant. I didn't do a lot of research on OBGYN and figure I would just stay because I already felt comfortable. I am so glad I stayed, not only for the exceptional staff and wonderful doctor. But I had such a wonderful birthing experience. The office staff is always upfront about everything and they will try to help you as much as they can! The nurses will answer any questions you have, I can't remember how many times I called to make sure something was "normal" Dr. Kunda is not only a wonderful doctor but he brings a great presence wherever he goes. Even if he had bad news he has a great way of being apologetic and positive at the same time! During and after labor I couldn't have been more thankful for an amazing doctor! Now we are so happy to have our little bundle of joy home with us! (Also I had some postpartum hormonal migraines and I called the office and they brought me in to address my concerns and refer me in the right direction!) So thankful for this office, nurses, and doctor!!

Most upsettingly, he moved forward with other procedures, knowing he no longer intended to treat me, effectively leaving me high and dry during a vulnerable time. * Recommendation: While the office staff and Nurse Practitioner are excellent, I cannot recommend this physician. The front desk staff is cold, but to be honest I kind of expect that nowadays. I've seen other reviews saying that there is low privacy which is true, the walls are thin thin thin. So I would definitely keep that in mind if you are anxious about things like this. That being said, my appointment today was very rushed because Denise was on vacation and Dr. Kunda had to go to a surgery. Not a big deal, whatever. However, in the middle of my pap smear Kunda answered a call from his son... Literally one hand on the speculum, other hand on the phone. I was shocked. Then, I'm getting an ultrasound, spread eagle and legs facing the wall. The nurse leaves to get something and the door is left open. I get it nobody could see anything, but the position was still extremely vulnerable and I am not usually an anxious person, but I felt incredibly exposed.

We love Dr. Kowalik herself but front desk staffer, Connie, is horrible. 7 out of the last 8 times…read morewe went for my twins check up she messed up our insurance. That number is literal. All 7 of those times I almost walked out the front door without getting my babies checked because of her incompetence. Every single time the issue was that she would input a "1" instead of an "I" when entering my insurance #. Every single time I had to correct her. One time, she got it wrong and told me "you don't have insurance on the girls" After dealing with this same stupid crap numerous times I said "Look I am tired of this and I am about to switch Doctors all because you can't do your job right." On numerous occasions I heard Connie talking about other patients from the lobby. At one time, I even heard her talk about me but I don't play games so I confronted her. She lied to the Dr. about something I said and didn't think I heard her. On another occasion she was trying to set up my twins next appointment so I told her Wednesday was fine since that's the only day I have off. She said "How about Thursday?" I pretty much pull no punches with Connie now considering she had the most rotten ass attitude I've ever met so I said "I literally just said any Wednesday was fine because that's my only day off. So no, Thursday won't work." She sighed so loudly and it was very obvious she was annoyed. I said "what? What is your problem?" And she suddenly changed her tune. I dreaded dr visits because I knew she would be there and I was tired of dealing with ignorant people. I have never in my life dealt with such a rude front desk personnel. I did, however, like Dr. Kowalik. She is to the point and no nonsense. Well, except with her front desk employee because that lady should have been fired ages ago.

I was charged for something I was told did not even happen and the receptionist was extremely rude. I will NEVER go there again and will recommend others to never go there.
