We recently hired DJ Stephen for our wedding and are so happy with our choice! He was so easy to work with and was very professional during the planning process. The lighting he used for the space was beautiful and really enhanced the beauty of the space, and the photobooth was a great addition to a high energy evening. My favorite though, was the way Stephen read our preferred music list and really crafted a fun, high-energy lineup of music that ensured everyone at the party had a reason to get up and dance. I highly recommend him!

We planned a complete wedding in Chicago, IL, but a few months before our wedding, we had to relocate our entire wedding to Akron, Ohio. I'm originally from Miami, FL and wanted to ensure we had a dj who could appropriately integrate the Miami/Hispanic side in this blended wedding. I honestly don't have the words to describe how AMAZING Stephen was throughout the entire planning process (for both cities). As great as it was to work with him up to the wedding, the results were even better. Everyone had a blast at my wedding. No matter where they originated from, they were on the dance floor. As per my husband's elderly grandmother while grooving on the dance floor, "this is the most fun wedding I have ever been to". Stephen got our vision and executed beyond what we could have asked for. He is professional, flexible, and worth more than he charged. Our guests were raving about our DJ and the vendors all wanted his contact info. As far as we are concerned, Stephen went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to him. He was booked for our Chicago wedding and assisted us in finding vendors to supply the dj equipment. He spoke to them to ensure they had everything he needed and reassured us after. When we made the decision to move the wedding to Akron, Ohio- Stephen was one of the first calls I made. I was nervous as I assumed that he wouldn't want to travel during this time, but he was again on board and reassured us that as long as he was able to, he'd be at our wedding. Music pretty much makes a reception, so this was major to us. Stephen again talked to vendors in Akron to ensure the equipment was what we needed. The equipment company in Akron was less than desired so Stephen graciously offered to drive up to Akron (19 hours) and bring his equipment. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. A big part of that is thanks to Stephen. Thank you isn't enough. Hiring DJ Stephen Peters is the best decision you can make for your event.

I was given Sunset Event Production's contact information by my caterer, Fayolle Gourmet, and couldn't be more thankful for the introduction. Laurent and his team did a site visit and I had to depend on him to let me know what he thought would be best for the unusual space (an airplane hangar that was converted into a boat marina). He did site visits and put everything together. On the day of, we were told that we could not set up the space until 5 pm while our event started at 6 pm. I had a mini panic attack. There was water on the floor. The space was very industrial. Laurent and his team transformed the place so very quickly. They went above and beyond. The lighting was spectacular. I even had someone from the marina ask if they could speak with Laurent to get more info on the up-lights he used. So many of our guests said it was the coolest and most unique venue space they've ever been to and it was only thanks to Sunset Event Production and how they transformed the space. I also was in a bind with music as the wifi was spotty so my Pandora list wasn't working. Laurent had the most perfect playlist available and DJed as well even though he was not asked or paid to. I could not have been happier with his services and Fayolle Gourmet. Both teams just really saved the day.

Similar to other reviewers, we chose Rivera Events to provide catering services for my son's 1st…read morebirthday after Vanessa sold the company to us as being a "family business" with many years of experience. We requested 40 hot dogs, 40 hamburgers, 40 pan con lechons, and baked beans for 40 guests from 12-3 PM. To start, the cook was unprofessional and rude, pulling a random party guest to the side at around 1:30 PM and telling him that he was "leaving at 2 PM (an hour before the agreed upon time) because "no one was really eating". This confused guest informed me at which point I called Vanessa for clarification. She confirmed it was until 3 PM and the cook didn't so much as glare at my direction or apologize for the misunderstanding. He maintained his gaze downward and just started grilling some hot dogs -- it was obvious he did not want to be there. Then, I had MULTIPLE guests come up to me to tell me that he was only offering them hot dogs and hamburgers, despite me having paid for 40 pan con lechons and baked beans as well. My husband's cousin even told me that at one point he went up to the cook to ask what he had and that the cook replied "I only have hot dogs". We are a hispanic family, in no way are my relatives going to choose a hot dog over a pan con lechon. When my husband and I informed our families of the selections, some guests went to get, however, at this point, it was nearly 3 o'clock and conveniently time for him to start cleaning up. I subsequently expressed all of my frustrations with Vanessa and received no sense of empathy for my experience despite having paid +$1200 for this service. She retreated to make irrelevant comments such as, "He [the cook] also mentioned that you had by paella so many options for your guests to choose from" (this was provided by another catering company, which I'd gladly refer to friends and family) & "there was a sign with all the food that we provided as well as him offering what we had". When we shared a picture of the bare table with NO menu on display (thank goodness for my guests and their cameras; see picture below), it was conveniently disregarded by Vanessa who clinged to the notion that the cook provided my guests with "utmost attention and professionalism", despite not having been there herself. Lastly, being that pan con lechon and baked beans were not presented to guests, you would assume there would be a lot of leftovers as I paid for 40 people per item. Especially if guests had allegedly declined beans as the cook claimed, right? Well, I never received any baked beans to take home and only ONE tray of pan con lechon (which could hold no more than 12). I raised this concern to Vanessa four times, and to this day it continues to be left unaddressed, which is a red flag in my opinion. Her only response days later, after MULTIPLE follow-up attempts by me, was a copy of the invoice (???) saying "These are the services we were hired for and these are the services that we provided." No, Vanessa, services were not provided as agreed upon considering the above statements. At this point, her emails are starting to emulate an AI-generated auto-response with no genuine apology or some form of compensation in site. All in all, please read and consider the ONE STAR reviews. In my opinion, this company does not genuinely care for its clients and should not be rewarded with their time, consideration, or money.

My fiancée (now wife) and I began planning for our Destination wedding in beautiful Key Biscayne…read moreFlorida and needed to find a DJ that would make our special day one that we would not soon forget. While the idea is very appealing the challenge for us was working from a distance with vendors and trusting that they will deliver according to our expectations. If you have ever been to a wedding or have had one of your own, you can attest to the fact that the DJ or MC is without a doubt what will make or break the party. A good one will know what to play and when to play it to keep folks entertained and most important "on the dance floor", but doing so for our wedding would not be that simple because my wife and I were raised from two different cultures and styles of music. We knew that finding just the person who could be both flexible and creative would be tricky since we didn't know anyone who could give us a word of mouth referral. So, after hours of scouring review sites we finally narrowed our list down to (one DJ) then booked a flight to Key Biscayne to interview him and some other vendor finalists face to face. However, somewhere between the time that we jumped on our flight and the time that we had scheduled our interview to meet with the DJ, someone else had already booked him for our wedding day. We were in shock as there was no time to find a replacement and we now thought that we would have to roll the dice and hope for the best. Fortunately for us, the DJ who we originally planned to sign with recommended "Jean Marco Bendezu" a.k.a. DJ Mirage of Rhythm Revolvers. He assured us that he would be able to step in and get the job done and WOW!!!! DID HE EVER!!!!!! With less than 24hrs notice and without missing a beat, DJ Mirage of Rhythm Revolvers was nice enough to come out to the hotel where we were staying so we could interview him face to face before we had to catch our flight back home. As soon as we met and interviewed him our confidence was restored and we signed a contract on the spot. COMMUNICATION - In the months leading up to our wedding his communication by email and by phone was excellent! He provided excellent guidance in helping us decide the types of music we wanted for our wedding reception and even provided us with audio samples of his work. In addition to that, he worked very closely with our wedding planner to make sure that all details and flow of our night went according to plan from the blessing, to the toasts, to the cake cutting etc.. EQUIPMENT - He used state of the art DJ equipment and LED Up-lighting that made our reception venue look AMAZING!!! SERVICE - This DJ absolutely "ROCKED THE HOUSE" !! The way he blended one song into the next and genre type into another was simply incredible. He truly set the tone for every part of our reception and it was such a blast to see how people were on the dance floor from the first song to the last. PRICE - We feel that we could not have found a more reasonable and affordable DJ anywhere in FLorida. IN SUMMARY - There are simply not enough words to describe just how happy we were with the effort and planning he put into our wedding reception which resulted in the most amazing outcome that we could have ever hoped for. He made it a "Great Night" that we will never forget!!! We would HIGHLY recommend DJ Mirage and Rhythm Revolvers to anyone!
