Owner said my car would fail inspection because of a "pending" code. Mind you, check engine light was not on. He said he could bypass the inspection computer somehow to make it pass, if I gave him $100. So I left. Took the car to another shop the same day. Passed without issue. I was a customer for 25 years. Do not even want to give them one star, very rude mechanic came in waiting area said what do you need I said breaks he said "keys" I waited about 5 min so I could explain I needed back breaks and that I was there for an oil change 3 days prior but when I opened the door to the garage he was yelling at my 18 year old son who was waiting in car to drive me home after I left my car to be fixed, he didn't realize I was standing there i asked why he was yelling at my son and was pretty rude to me and he said " we don't need your business " took my car off the lift refused to give me his name I said I'm a regular customer I can't believe this is how you treat your customers, he said "I've never seen you" I said because my husband usually brings all our cars here wow .... after I left I realized they had another shop in Medford I called asked if they were affiliated told me yes and the general manager was there today, I left a message for General manager who did not get back to me or even see me when I got to Medford to get my breaks done there they were friendly enough told me the general manager was busy and couldn't talk to me gave me $7 off my break job told me to bring my car to them instead of the Mastic shop and I quote " that's why there over there and we are over here" not sure what they meant but now no call from them so no more business for them I will never tell another friend to go there again, I drive by there and see that jerk all the time funny thing is it's never busy I have 3 cars that we always brought there for a few years but no more .... apparently I wasn't important enough to get a call from the General manager so they lost our business, come to think about it it's not the first time I got an attitude from them....from now on I go to TIRE CITY they are not just tires which I did not know friendly service that's all I was asking for ....... read more
