Unless…read moreyou want to eat in the middle of the store, right near the entrance, or outside on a couple tables I'd recommend ordering to go. Not a complaint of mine, just giving you a heads up! I'd also recommend ordering ahead as the wait for us was about 30 minutes. The owner is very kind, but I would've preferred he tell us it would be a while instead of just saying 10 minutes. They had several door dash orders and since it's just a couple people cooking, it does take a minute. As far as the food, the Chicken Biryani was good, fair for the price. The chicken Tikka is not on the stick as pictured, and doesn't have any "sauce" or masala curry mixture of any sort. Not a bad thing, just wish I had an idea as it was listed next to the other curries that all come not as bare meat. For $5.99, I would recommend you go with another menu option to get more bang for your buck. The potato samosa was tasty, much better than the chicken one since the chicken samosa is basically seasoned ground chicken meat inside. It's not too pricey so still wouldn't hurt to try both.

The staff were very kind, and we really appreciated their hospitality at the store.

There's this great little meat market store just down the road on 29th near Western; this store is…read morethe supermarket big sibling version at May & 29th in what used to be a Buy For Less. What they do, they do well. Each department stocks fresh offerings, everything is clearly priced and labeled, except the aisles. If you are looking for the helper signs for each aisle, then you have to be at the front of the store, minor oversight on their part. Their fresh veggie selection is second to none. Their selection of bulk items (nuts, dried fruits, etc.) is hit or miss, but I found things here I haven't found elsewhere, & I felt like I hit the jackpot with my shaved coconut find. They have the amazing La Michoacana house-made fresh queso in the deli. Speaking of the deli, it's huge. Come here for all your backyard grilling needs and leave satisfied. Who knew there were so many tortilla offerings to chose from? Find all the offerings you could imagine here. Looking for a big birthday cake? They bakery has you covered. Whenever I'm in a Latin American grocery store I also love to peruse the kitchen gadgets section, and theirs doesn't disappoint. In all it's amazingness, this store does not carry all your traditional American grocery store brands and offerings (thank heavens, right?!?) If you are looking for the Latinx version of something, you'll find it here. If you are looking for the gringo version, shop elsewhere. April 2022

LOVE this New Mexican supermercado !!! They have the cutiest little taco shack inside !!! Yay!!!…read more They have fresh made elote tamales !!! YUM! I love the other supermercado down the street but it's always so packed & there is never any parking! Plus there are always vagrants running around over there so I have been avoiding that supermercado. This one is smaller & not as much produce but they have pretty much all the same stuff as the bigger one down the street. The parking here is nice & new, it's somewhat better, however, this supermercado is next to the freakin pawn shop! When I was parking, some homie with no door on his car came barreling in to the pawn shop next door & tried to flatten me like a pancake. Apparently pawning his neighbors goods is more important than the life of the customers of the supermercado. So heads up on the pawn shop next door & it's crazies. Avoid peak "pawning hours" I suppose. No bueno. The great thing about this place & why I might risk my life to shop here, is they have a fantastic meat market inside in back. They have these custom made bacon wrapped cheese stuffed jalapeños that are freakin 2.die.4!!! I am not sure what kind of cheese they use or if it's a blend but they are amazballs!!! When I was there I got a few to try, we ate them all the first day & that is all we have been talking about since. Trying to get out of here & make a run for the bacon wrapped (white cheeses?) Stuffed jalapeños as I write this, operation safe passage is underway. So, fantastic New Mexican grocery store that makes some KILLER stuffed jalapeños. No, seriously, going to get more of them might cost me my life, but they are so freakin yummy I'm willing to roll the dice! Lol Recommend going here before the pawn shop opens next door. Good luck & God bless! Save me some killer jalapeños!

A gem of the Latin American grocery store community has opened another location in south OKC!…read more The thing that sets Feria Latina apart from the many other Latino grocery stores in the south is that they also offer products from Central + South America. This south location seems to offer a wider selection of products than the original location. There's so much that similar between the norte (north) & sur (south) stores. They offer similar selections of products and most of the familiar departments from the norte store have made it to the sur location: attractive stands of fresh fruits and veggies, bakery, meat, seafood, & home goods. This location does not, however, have the restaurant inside like the norte location. I had the pleasure recently of having to go to both locations in the same day and I can safely say I prefer the layout and selection at Feria Latina Sur. I enjoy shopping here every so often. There's so much that you can't find elsewhere. July 2021
