I just went on Savor Seattle's Chocolate tour and the stop at Indi chocolate was AMAZING! Not only do they have a fantastic variety of hand crafted chocolates. . . they even roast the beans here. . . they also have bath products, rubs for grilling etc. I got a bbq rub that's 50% cacao, and two soaps for my daughters, cacao/mint and cacao/orange. Fantastic location too because it's straight down from the main floor and not as crowded. I'll be back tomorrow with my two daughters and their best friends for a little adventure. read more

I attended the class at Indi Chocolate for truffle making. It was so fun and such a great environment. The education portion was excellent. They provided detail without being too complex. I loved learning the process and hand rolling the truffles was the best! I would high recommend taking this class with a friend, loved one or anyone as a matter of fact! read more

Deserves all 5 stars! They have a great new location in the Pike Place market extension. Service is great and they have tons of samples. Chocoholics rejoice!! I came in with an intense craving for a truffle. At first I was let down when all I could find were some old bakery items and chocolate bars. But the person working was super excited to let us have a free taste test of the chocolate fondue and I was immediately ok with satiating my craving with their product. They have SO many different kinds of chocolate from literally everywhere. They even have chocolate scented body products! And books on chocolate! My husband ordered a cappuccino (no chocolate involved) and it was Ahhhhmazing. There is a workspace next to the chocolate station where I assume they make chocolate. We bought two chocolate bars from different origins with different flavor notes. If you care about that stuff, GO here!!! read more

I am so glad we happened across Indi! It is an amazing place for those with gluten or nut allergies, truly a rare gem. I would recommend their chocolate truffles or mocha coffee to anyone and would even suggest shipping their chocolates to someone who has a hard time finding nut free chocolates such as myself. Super great chocolate venue in Pike Place Market. Came here for a mixology class, sampled a number of their products while we were in! Loved the Madagascar, and their beverage lineup is also great. My wife and I had just pulled into town and were lucky enough to have discovered this gem! We were greeted by the owner, Erin, and just had the most wonderful/flavorful coffee and chocolate we have had in the Pacific Northwest. We ended up have quite the long conversation, in a good way, with Erin and not only is she just a wonderful person but also has the kind of passion for coffee and chocolate fellow foodies would appreciate. First time to Pike Place and out of all the coffee shops I've tried here, this is by far my favorite. This coffee shop makes its very own chocolate that they use to put in some of their coffees. The workers are friendly here and the boss lady is super nice! Highly recommend this place. read more

The lavender tea was amazing, as well as their chocolates. However the hot cocoa not so much, it was very bland and had no chocolate flavor. It was very watery as-well. I'm disappointed since I thought this place would have amazing hot cocoa since it is all about chocolate. I asked them to add more chocolate I was told it would be an extra charge. While on my Chocolate Indulgence Tour with Savor Seattle, we stopped in to Indi Chcolate's shop at the Pike Place Market. This artisian chcolate maker flys to the chcooclate growing regions of the world to source her own cocoa. Once back in the states thye take this cocoa and turn it into incredible, delicious chcooclate! Mmmmm! Not to mention other incrdible products like spice rubs, lip balms and hand lotion. A great place to take visitors to Pike Place Market. They have the MOST amazing café mocha! I make a point to stop in and treat myself whenever I'm nearby. Terrible coffee, the roast was very bitter and there were grounds in both my and my mom's coffee. I understand that it's specialty coffee but it was very overpriced for what we received, especially the quality. Came here just before closing. The guy working at the time was friendly and didn't mention the store was close to closing. He took the time to explain how they make chocolate and had us taste unrefined chocolate. I ended up buying two of the chocolate bars for $7 each. Both were delicious and had distinct tastes. At first we were confused if the restaurant was closed or not so we went there. When we got there we discovered that it was close so on our way there we called the manager and she was nice enough to let us come in. They basically re-opened for us. Their dark chocolate was outstanding. I ordered a hot chocolate and also ordered a chocolate bar. Both of them were absolutely delicious. Their flavor is so rich and unique. This is a lovely cafe and chocolate shop on the new Pike Place Waterfront that will likely be a new favorite hang out. They have lovely chocolate treats, spices, body products, and chocolate infused teas. I drank a rose chocolate tea (mellow and rich) and tried a sample of their mint and chai cocoa butter body lotion. The chai lotion had a lovely chocolate spice scent that is perfect for fall. read more

I got the recommendation from Seattle Eater's list of top coffee shops in the city, but this place didn't compare the other places I've visited on my coffee tour of Seattle.
