First Impressions: the cutest little wine bar. Friendly people and great service. Only came in for a glass but ended up staying for 2 bottles and multiple small bites, lol.
The Noms: I had the Marsala (speck, smoked provolone and honey) my husband and friends had the Merlot (beef tartare, stracciatella, dried tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, chopped truffle hazelnut) and both were so good. Perfect ratio of focaccia to meat/cheese ratio. We also got the truffle crostini... amazing!
In Conclusion: All'Antico Vinaio is overly touristy.. if you want quality sandwiches and small bites with great wine selection... you need to come here. You're not just another person in line of a popular tourist spot.. the owner, Charlie, will take the time to speak with you and talk to you about all the different wines and make recommendations. As someone who enjoys wines, but knows next to nothing about it... this was much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend! read more
