I am also a dance teacher at a local school and have a degree in dance from UT Austin. All of this being said, I can't say enough good things about TADA!!! Our experience has been beyond my expectations. My daughter is an excellent dancer, but in the past, she has never been given the opportunity to grow. She had to push HERSELF. She had to join Summer Ballet Intensives for WEEKS at a time. She had to take PRIVATE lessons from choreographers who would stretch her limits. At TADA, my daughter has improved her dance ability 3 fold... and we have only been at this studio for 7 months. She also takes fewer classes a week at TADA than she has taken in the past 4 years and she comes out of class with sweat, knowledge and a smile, wanting me to let her take more classes! With a primary degree in ballet, I know they are teaching everything correctly and safely. Windows are always open and I can watch the corrections and interactions with teachers. I have high expectations of professional dance teachers and can prove by watching that I am getting exactly what I want to pay for. Elise is the ballet director and being from Houston Ballet, she knows exactly what she's doing. Let's be honest, if your daughter is in dance, especially on a team, it is not cheap. However, it is much cheaper here than what I have paid in the past at the old studio. I don't feel like anyone is gouging prices. Everything is upfront and honest. They even let my daughter put snack food on her bill that I can pay at the end of the month (when I forget to send her with a snack or a drink, LOL!). I have never experienced such a positive atmosphere in the dance world as I do when I am at TADA. The dance world is full of negative competition and jealous girls that will push others out of the way to be in front. I have experienced this as a dancer, as a teacher, and from the other studio. I have NEVER felt that at TADA and neither has my daughter. We are going into our third competition of the season and the dancers and teachers all support each other and cheer each other on. The girls are genuinely excited for each other. They watch each other dance. They lift each other up. There is no jealousy because they know it is a team effort. I truely believe that attitude can only come from the top... Kristan and Tessie are amazing at getting the girls excited as a team. They are honest, loving and REAL!!!! I can tell they care about my daughter and every other dancer from their heart. If your looking for a dance studio, TADA is the best in the area. We love dance at TADA!!

There is no communication, they cancel classes without any notice. My baby girl was heartbroken twice, when we arrived to the dance class only to find a closed door. No one warns you that there will be NO classes next week, there are no any notes on the doors or walls that classes are being cancelled for some reason. They can change a class time without any notice, which is so unprofessional. The instructor did not pay attention to all the kids the same. Some received more attention and others none. Then she brought 2 of her own kids to the class and of course some of the time was spend on her own kids. I am paying so the instructor would spend as much time with my kid as possible and not her own. I do not recommend this school to anyone!

The first year I was in class with her every time. The instructors are kind and she had fun while learning basic ballet techniques (she's a toddler). This year she goes in alone and is excited every week to go. Sometimes the shade is up and sometimes down so it's not a mystery what is going on in there. Well, just after I started finally progressing, I got switched again and they moved into the new studio. I got shuffled between a few different people who will go unnamed. The new instructors can dance really well, but they do not know how to teach. I walked in twice, and both instructors expected ME to lead the lesson in we should be practicing. On top of that, you can't even dance an oval in the new studio. I have to walk straight to the other wall, and zigzag my way through the salsa class in the same room. Ridiculous for the amount of money I paid. I feel like I wasted $1400 for nothing. I guess the lessons I took with April and Rose were of value, but everything else is a crap shoot. In one example not only the half-used bottle of water was left behind on the treadmill, there were food crumbs on it. In another example an underwear was hung on the wall of a women's bathroom stall. Unfortunately despite repeated reporting to the manager/supervisor things are getting worse. 2. For almost $80 I pay for a locker, I am supposed to receive free laundry but practically I can't use this service because their laundry service destroyed one of my t-shirts and I was never compensated for it. 3. Their recovery room is closed for 1.5 hours (2:00-3:30) every business day which makes no sense. For the upscale club that this is supposed to be, the above issues should not exist.

A manager acknowledged the billing error and issued a refund, but then, VillaSport reversed those refunds. We are now right back where we started, after over a month of trying to recover these funds. When we spoke to the front desk, we were actually cautioned against filing a credit card dispute, as we were told the company "automatically disputes" them. After looking at some of the 1-star reviews, it appears this issue is not unique to me.
