I visit Lodz about once per year to visit family. There is only one place that is a "must visit" for me every single time - In Centro pizza. Regardless of how much it inconveniences my family, my visit to Poland would not be complete without this remarkably consistent and always delicious pizza. On a side note I hope the locals appreciate the accessibility of tasty garlic sauce, as I've had to resort to working out an at-home recipe that is but a dim reflection of this ambrosia. The best pizza in the world. Seriously. I am mostly into cheese and olive and they do have unusual flavour and distinctive sauces. Fans of traditional Italian pizza may not get what they look for, but this is a great eating experience. Many times it has been voted best eating place in Lodz or Poland and it still keeps the same local climate and prices. Looks modest, but once you taste the pizza, you will keep on coming back!
