Even though the issue was clearly explained, the employee insisted I pay a $100 diagnostic fee before they would even look at it. Later, I received a call saying the hard drive supposedly needed to be replaced instead, for nearly $300. When I went back to pick up the laptop, the same employee -- who kept his face mostly hidden under a hoodie -- seemed irritated that I asked to see the laptop powered on. The moment he turned it on, it made an even louder and more alarming noise than before. Since they couldn't fix the laptop, he offered to replace it with an used refurbished laptop. On my third visit, I simply asked whether the diagnostic fee could be applied toward the repair cost. At that point, the employee became hostile, raised his voice, threatened to call the police, called me names, and refused to complete the transaction until the owner arrived. I related this sad story to the company owner, paid requested amount, and left the place without any apology.

He dropped everything to photograph my work and produce giclee prints of the original in time for an art opening at the end of the week. The photograph of the original and giclee prints produced were exactly as I have come to expect. The final giclee prints were of highest quality. He was prompt, easy to work with, communicates well and showed that he cares about his final work product.
