This review is way overdue. My husband and I hired Impressive Creations to capture our Indian wedding weekend (300 guests) in April 2023. We had 2 days that needed coverage, with a total of 3 events. Our team consisted of Robert and Christian. The two of them are AWESOME! We started our wedding weekend with a request to get some shots at the nearby beach. Christian and Robert were so enthusiastic and captured some amazing shots. They gave us tons of ideas of different things to do, and they worked so well with the photographers that we had hired. The first event was the Sangeet - we had asked our bridal party to come before the event started and Robert and Christian got some super cute shots of the group. During the event, they perfectly captured all of the Sangeet dances, both with a stable camera in the back, as well as from different angles (which was super cool to see in our video!). On the wedding day morning, Robert came to shoot with me (the bride), and Christian went to the groom. My wake up time was 2AM, and Robert had to come start shooting details around 4/5ish AM. He was such a champ and didn't complain once. He cracked jokes with me and made sure that I was happy and awake. He helped take away a lot of the stress because of how chill he was. The wedding morning/first look/baraat/ceremony was shot beautifully - there were aspects of the Indian wedding we had said were super important to us and they got it all. The cocktail hour and reception was no different. Every moment, from grand entrances, to cake cutting, to speeches and our first dance, was done well. We had a violinist at our reception and they got some great footage of us dancing with her. Robert and Christian were a joy to work with, and worked extremely well with the other vendors as well. They were respectful, polite, and funny. I highly recommend them. When editing our video, the team was super efficient and made sure we were happy with the final product before giving it to us. It brought tears to my eyes watching it. They gave us the raw footage as well. 10/10 would recommend, thank you for helping us create and documenting everlasting memories :) read more

Brian and the rest of his team did an amazing job documenting our wedding last August! From the planning phase they were very helpful and organized and had a lot of knowledge about our venue. Fast forward to our wedding day the team was very professional and made sure to capture the best shots! When we finally got our edits we were blown away. Don't hire Impressive Creations for your wedding. Brian was not professional to deal with. When I met him, he seemed high and was "not all there." His eyes could barely focus nor could he comprehend what you're saying. He is lacking in social and customer service skills. We went an hour out of our way to go see him at a wedding expo and he wasn't even as his kiosk. It was basically a table with a TV showing his crappy wedding films. He went missing until the end of the expo show. He did not seem excited to get a new customer or business and was too busy adjusting his camera equipment to engage with anyone coming up to him. We told him the date of our wedding and he told us that he has a potential lead already. Ok ......we're your potential lead and we're right here standing in front of you. You emailed us to come meet you at the expo and you are no where to be seen. You don't show up to your kiosk until the show was over and it's time to pack up. His wedding videos look really cheesy and he overcharges. Avoid him......I don't know how he even gets any business. read more

The greatest investment I made for my wedding!! To let you know where we're coming from, my (now) husband and I were originally going to do without a wedding video and wanted to keep our wedding budget to a minimum. However, after meeting Brian Press at a wedding show and then being blown away by his work and website, we decided (after several weeks and some debating) to hire Impressive Creations for our wedding. I'm not going to lie... it was the most expensive line item in our wedding budget :-( We had our wedding a few months back and just received our Feature Film. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. It's a cinema masterpiece: all of the footage and music and editing is so professionally done and the video is quality HD. We're so glad that the team put so much time and effort and creativity into our film. It captured all of the special moments of our wedding and provided the perfect narrative of our important day. Brian Press' crew and editors and creative director are so detail-oriented. For example, they requested us to send them some of our favorite photographs, which they used to make the label and cover to our blue-ray disc. They also asked us to provide our favorite songs, which they edited so beautifully into our film. We did receive a first edit to review and comment on. My husband and I requested to take out one clip and to add another clip. The creative director (Kate Ripps) responded enthusiastically and said it was no problem. From all of our many interactions, I could tell that the entire Impressive Creation team is always positive and professional and do their best to accommodate and impress their clients! We completely recommend Impressive Creations for wedding cinematography! Although their prices are higher than other cinematographers we also considered, we got what we paid for and have no regrets. The one thing that stood out the most was his customer service. When you're getting married, life is crazy and can be stressful. Many contracts are signed and small details can (at times) fall through the cracks. Brian was very transparent throughout the entire process - explaining to us if we had enough hours booked to capture all of our events, asking for our PERMISSION to increase his hours (obviously at an additional cost), and then on the back end taking care of our every little request when it came to completing the videos. Before meeting Brian while we were in So Cal, we corresponded by phone and he is also easily reachable via text. When we met with Brian, he shared videos shot by him and his team and we were definitely impressed! Before we knew it, we were booked! The day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. His staff arrived as requested and blended in with our friends and family! Our same-day-edit was beautifully edited and shared during our reception. On the recommendation of a wedding planner, I hired and paid for this company to do Live Streaming for an outdoor wedding. Apparently, they are not experienced at doing this task. They may do a better job with videography (and editing), but they were not skillful when it can to Live Streaming. They did not capture the beginning of the wedding processional. Our family and friends saw interruptions by views of the grass and sky dancing (shakiness). The was unprofessional background talk by the camera crew. And they forgot the camera was pointed at an empty altar (instead of the happy hour intermission) after the vows were exchanged. The owner, when I complained to the owner Brian, he tried to justify his crew with excuses. Brian response was unprofessional, arrogant, inconsiderate, not in the least customer friendly, and non-apologetic. Other reviews have characterized him in the same manner. I researched a lot of cinematographers prior to our wedding especially ones that specialize in Indian weddings and by far impressive creations was the best ones that caught my attention. Their style is unique to each individual/couple. We were very picky about our same day edit with the style and music we wanted and Brian took the time to work with us to help create the same day edit we were looking for. We have seen a lot of amazing same day edits at our friends weddings and we were nervous and hoped that it would turn out the way we wanted. I was VERY disappointed in my communication with Impressive Creations. My wedding venue referred us to them, and they seemed like fantastic videographers. We were excited to get in touch with them and discuss possibly hiring them for our wedding--that is, until we started exchanging emails about packages and pricing. They quoted us one price for 10 hours of coverage, which was WAY more coverage than we needed. We wrote back saying that we couldn't use all 10 hours, and asked that they adjust the quote to only 6-7 hours of coverage. They responded by saying that they made a mistake on the original quote, and that their packages actually $600 MORE EXPENSIVE than they originally quoted...and that the original quote would actually only cover 7 hours of coverage. I'm sorry...but changing the price on us like that seemed totally unprofessional. I knew immediately that no matter how good their work is, I didn't want to hire them. We're going with another videographer. read more

The angles and lighting he captures is so professional you would think that Martin Scorsese directed the shot, but no it was Brian and his team! He captured our wedding day even better than we remembered it. And the grand finale was the same day edit he created for us. Booking Brian with Impressive Creations was one of the first decisions we made for our wedding and we could not be more pleased. Not only is Brian such a pleasure to work with, but his product speaks for itself. We played our same day edit during our reception and were complete blown away. We had initially agreed to have prewedding events, sangeet, and wedding in the SDE. On top of that, he somehow included footage from our reception day including the decor and a few couple shots in the ballroom. This is just one example of how they go above and beyond. Everyone was shocked at how quickly they put the video together but also how impeccable and dramatic it was! We also asked for many changes to our feature film (mainly just for personal preference of certain shots) and they made these changes right away without any bit of push back.
