I called CK who came out, tested the alternator and found out that the alternator was fine, but it did need a new battery. they replaced the battery and the new serpentine belt within a half an hour. The owner of Kingston Automotive had no problem letting me bring my own parts. Many shops will refuse this, because they want to upcharge customers on parts. Addressing reply:…read more The vehicle was brought back to the shop in November of 2025 - BEFORE the 6 month warranty expired and sat for over a week untouched. When Glen was contacted after the vehicle sat on the lot untouched for a week - it was communicated that the vehicle should be picked up and brought back if the issues continued to be noticed. The vehicle was returned in December. The point of this review - defective parts were used - the warranty was sub par as compared to other facilities in the direct vicinity that ultimately performed the same repairs for less cost with brand new parts (pictures available) - overcharged for services - and the vehicle was retained for lengthy periods of time throughout the entire process. Inquiries were unanswered and the "office" that is referenced when Glenn or Ron are contacted at Austin's is unreachable. BUYER BEWARE. Had we researched existing reviews prior to obtaining services - this situation for us would've been avoided. Lesson learned. Hoping no other consumer has to share this experience.
