WARNING: Unfortunately I hate to give what seems like a good coffee shop a poor rating, but their…read morepoor customer service and very condescending attitude is forcing me to warn other customers to stay away from this place. Although if you are handy with carpentry, the fix is easy, I don't think they should be charging $700 for a product claiming to be custom that clearly is not. I bought custom wood panels for my ECM Synkronika machine for $700-and note this only pays for two small walnut panels about 1'x1'. There were two significant carpentry design problems with them: A. The metal feet that were screwed into the wood panels were mis-measured, and I had to modify the metal and wood to make them fit. Although I did craft a solution to resolve this, for $700, they really need to double check their measurements. This is essential for any carpenter: measure twice, cut once. B. They poorly designed the left wood panel because it pushes hard against the pump. Their response to me was "it doesn't push up against the pump." (Unbelievable as this customer svc rep calls himself, literally a "coffee expert!!") If they were paying attention to the design, they would have noticed that the original steel panels are 1/2" narrower, which allows them to NOT hit the pump. These wood panels are very thick, and they clearly push the pump at a hard angle. To fix this, you need to chisel out a 5"x6" square area by hand in order to allow the pump to not be pushed inward.

One of their folks recently found my dog out on her own personal walkabout after I apparently fled the house without closing a single door (It seems I was very excited to go get dinner. Or something. I honestly have no clue what happened that night.) For all the interactions I've had with the kind folks who work here, I've only been in the shop a couple of times. But each time it is a veritable wonderland of glass sculpture and let's face it - artwork. I mean, if we are going to elevate and legitimize the cannabis industry, you really cannot go wrong enjoying it with some of the beautiful tools offered by the Mellow Mood. I have found the folks here to be kind, mellow, knowledgeable, and able to talk to you at whatever level of comprehension you have about what exactly you're supposed to do with the various apparatus in the cases.

Located right off of Hogan and Stark is this little liquor store. It is in the same little strip mall as Chase, B-Mart and there is a UPS Store there. Parking here can be a challenge since it is shared with some of the other stores. We like the layout of the store as it is organized where the different types of liquors are broken up in sections. The workers are very friendly and always willing to give solid advice when we are looking to try something new or wanting to do mixed drinks. If you are looking for the more fancy stuff like Cognac, it is behind the counter and you do have to ask for it. This has not been an issue for us since we generally know what we need when we come here. They also sell cigarettes and I really like their wide variety of the small bottles of liquors. The price is set by the OLCC/ Oregon Liquor Control Commission so it will be the same as the other stores. The workers do a great job of getting you in and out of the store, which we appreciate. The fast and friendly service and knowledgeable employees of their products make this place a great.

As soon as I came in and met with one of your employees, I had nothing but the best most kind genuine experience. I didn't catch his name, but he had offered to let me sample the flavors on tap and also take a to-go cup! I had asked a couple questions and he explained everything that is done, even got a little sneak peek into where the canning line was. Yes, I geeked out because I love stuff like this. And he was super awesome enough to tell me about all the flavors and when I specifically asked for the new blackberry lime, he said they actually finished canning it yesterday, which is what I came here for! I had also planned to pick up some stuff for my niece since she lives quite a bit of ways from your location. She only gets it when she can find it at the market and her area so this is going to be a real treat! Thanks for such an awesome experience as I visited Lion Heart!
