I liked that the bathroom has a bathtub - was exactly what I felt like after a long day of travelling. The check in process is simple and the staff are lovely and polite. The restaurant has a great menu and the food is very good. The rooms and the hotel are a whole was very clean and well presented. I would certainly stay there again.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! David and Elvira are such charming hosts, and the food and wine selections are excellent. We loved our reception and our beautiful suite so much; we returned for another week's stay last month. David and Elvira were once again so charming and accommodating -- they even remembered my parents from the wedding. :) I can guarantee that you will not find a lovelier, feels-like-home experience than this beautiful place. Oh, and the breakfast options included in the room price are absolutely delicious! Very private location with beautiful grounds, but quick access for site-seeing in the surrounding communities. David and Elvira always have wonderful suggestions for day trips, I reccommend that you inquire upon arrival. Lovely, lovely place!

There was a good selection on the menu both for breakfast and dinner. The waitresses were very courteous and hard working. Because I had mentioned I was gluten free on our first evening the next morning my breakfast came and a little later on some gluten free toast. This was much appreciated also the gluten free soup in the evening. The entertainment was very good. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. My only comment was I felt a few more waitresses were needed but they did very well. Altogether a brilliant stay thank you.

The hotel is smart, clean and has some lovely surroundings. There are two resteraunts at the venue. The Chestnut tree which is family orientated, good food at reasonable prices which is adjacent to the childrens play area, and only seperated by an internal door. There are CCTV cameras for those wanting to keep an eye on the younger ones. The childrens area consists of the usual funplay area, and a small outdoor playarea for the warmer days. This is often booked for childrens parties. There is also a higher class of restaurant (Cellar's) for those special occassions again offering great food at a higher price. The venue is also used for weddings, christenings and company functions.
