We scheduled an appointment with MJ ahead of time on their booking platform. We've seen a few different barbers at this location, all being good in their own way. We checked in, we then waited in the back waiting area, and each grabbed a water from the refrigerator. We waited on a few minutes and then MJ came and got us. I explained what we were looking for, and she went to work. Fifteen minutes later, he looked like a new boy, clean cut and ready to tackle the world. We'll be back.

Super nice guy but unfortunately the fade was not blended and he cut off quite a bit more off the top and it was choppy and uneven. Red flag was when he used clippers instead of scissors to take off length from the top - definitely had to wear a hat the last couple of days to wait for this to grow out. The shop itself was nice but the skill was just not at the level I'm used to, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to my fades. Needless to say, Ive already scheduled an appointment to see my barber back home for Saturday to have him attempt to remedy this botched cut.

I wanted to make a quick update about my last experience though with my new Barber JT. Since my first visit, I've been moving forward with this dude, and he's just been awesome. Overall, hope you'll come here and give JT a shot!

I don't always feel comfortable at a barbershop, but she made me feel right at home. She offered complimentary drinks, and welcomed walk-in's. She even provided me with some great advice to keep my hair looking great. As we were chatting during the visit, I almost forgot I was getting my hair cut- that's how cool the vibe is there, and how talented she is. I appreciated all the extra services with the tea tree scent on the warm towels, making sure I didn't forget my glasses which I normally do, and even helping me trim up my nose hairs. I was surprised I had so many - gross, but I'm glad she took care of it. Every single staff member was completely helpful and friendly as well. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and it's just down the road from me. Thank you Josephine and everyone else at Diesel's. You all are great and very welcoming to all.

Jeff is an awesome barber. No matter what ideas I have for my hair, he's down and makes my mane desires reality. Jeff is consistent, which is deeply appreciated. I've never had a bad cut from Jeff. Did I mention that his name is Jeff??? This is a pretty cool shop. Sports on the tv, fun banter between barbers and customers - even an ATM machine in case you want to make it rain. What I really like is that the chairs in the waiting area are comfortable...that means a lot to me and my derriere. Everyone is super friendly and they all seem like really good barbers. Couldn't be a better barber shop...and then there's Jeff!
