They convinced me to take out a 1 year advertising contract, as a special offer where they normally ask clients to sign up for 2 years. What they didn't mention at the time is that you need to cancel in writing before 6 months to avoid it rolling over another year. The flyer that I was being advertised on was promised to come out over the next few weeks, in time for the wedding season in April/May. By June, I went to the bridal shop and they hadn't heard anything about me or the flyer. By July, still nothing. I called Impact and asked them, and they said it's on its way. Eventually, 7 months later in October, I received a copy of the flyer in the post. By then, even if I had known about the rolling contract, it would have already been too late to cancel it. Now it's March, I've received an invoice from them, called them to say I do now wish to renew and they pointed out that I signed the contract with the T&C stating it was rolling and I needed to cancel in writing 6 months before the contract was due. I'm now apparently obliged to pay up another £240, for something that was 7 months late and I got absolutely no business from in the last year. All I can say is think VERY carefully before using this company, read the T&C carefully and set a reminder in your diary to cancel, or better still, steer clear. read more

Impact Publications are a bunch of con artists offering advertising that does not work in two years i have not had a single enquiry off their advertising. Then like others on here they hit me with a £240 bill for renewal of contract with the usual 6 months cancellation rubish and when i refused to pay put it in the hands of another scumbag who threatens to take me to court! I have now found out that the shop where the advertising is running is closing down and instructed Impact Publications not to renew or take on new business for them, but in their wisdom have decided to ignore the shop owners instructions and persue me for the money anyway.well i got a surprise for them..i am not paying them another penny and if they have anything to say about it i shall sue them for trying to con me for a further 2 years advertising they knew was never going to run to the end of its term as the shop had instructed them they were closing down..my advice do not get involved with these conmen!!! read more

The reps will lie to get your signature and once they have that they will take money from your account without authorisation and won't release you from their agreement under any circumstance. An correspondence from them is hostile and unhelpful. They are a terrible company and should be prevented from trading because all they are interested in is scamming new businesses out of their money. I would advise everyone to steer clear of Impact Publications- don't even agree to a meeting with their reps because the next thing you will be aware of is they have somehow entrapped you into a contract with them, which rolls on indefinitely by the way, and you will find it very difficult to prove you have been conned and to get your money back. My star rating would be minus five but I have to give at least one star. They deserve that for their ability to con people out of their money. read more

I got sold an initial 2 year advert on the local wedding/Bridal shop. It did take a while to produce (apparantly the shop were late in sending dress pictures in) but in the end it was of a good quality. Over the last 2 years I have had numerous refferals and a good amount of work locally and also 1 wedding 22 miles away. They have just invoiced me for another year at the same price and I am happy to continue as its been a good investment. I am paying £350 per year so worth the money to me. As other comments stay well clear of this company, they promise everything and deliver nothing, they have had nearly 500 quid off me, now my 24 month contract is over with they have the cheek to send me a letter asking for r 300 quid, saying my contract is a roll over one and I had to cancel 6 months before the end, they say they are taking this further, does anyone on here have any advice on what to do read more
