I feel like if you're uncomfortable sitting in the front, you shouldn't have to. I don't like that--it personally makes me feel uncomfortable. I really enjoy the service, but I'd rather go somewhere else.

I know the people that wrote the other reviews are lying. I went to this church before I moved…read moreaway. The services are alive and refreshing and the presence of the Lord is there. This church has a good representation and is trustworthy and actively supports the community. In fact, the state of Delaware comes to them for help. The pastor doesn't take ANY money or offerings from the church because he has his own money and he is a self-made millionaire. These people don't represent Christ or his followers and are going to church for the wrong reasons. They are not edifying the body of Christ but are being critical and acting like the devil.

If you come know this, its a two and a half to three hour service so don't come until 12:15. if your lucky you'll catch a song or two then the service but be warned. The pastor can run long and is dry at times. we've got up and left after two hours and the pastor hadn't said a word yet. but if you want a large congregation that does a lot of community outreach program's, and big on music and singing this is your place

The Shrine of Our Lady of Peace is the statue in the photos, and the prayer garden, which is visible from I-295 and the Bridge. The exit is New Castle Ave. There are benchs and it is an outdoor area for quiet reflection and prayer. There are also outdoor stations of the cross around the statue. Unfortunately the websites don't seem to be up to date, at least the links I found. Check the latest bulletin on the parish website as the best source of schedules and information.
