Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It was also cozy and warm inside. Lots of chairs and tables to enjoy your coffee or tea with cakes or freshly baked breads. Germans love their bread. I can remember seeing my older sister, then around 12 years old, trying kirshwasser for the first time, enjoying a wiener and yage schnitzel for the first time, and later in life, realizing how great it would have been to spend my entire childhood across the street from this restaurant, rather than just the 3 short years. The food was amazing. The workers treated us life family. I am deeply hopeful that this has continued into the future. I have nothing but fond memories of this restaurant.
