The staff is really friendly. Everyone had a smile on their face and constantly said hello. It was very welcoming. The Trail house and art studio are great additions to the property. You can't take art classes or rent equipment for hikes or bike rides. In both spaces the people are very knowledgeable. Food choices are good. They have coffee shop with a variety of snacks and a couple restaurants. The pool is nice and the tennis bc outta and pickleball courts couldn't have a more scenic view. The Bad - The rooms are pretty dated. They need an upgrade at those prices. I had a patio to sit on but didn't have any chairs on the patio so I couldn't really use it. The room was dark and dim. No soft close toilet seat. Bathroom products were pretty average. Food prices are out of control. I realize it's a resort and we are a captive audience, bit please don't make things grossly overpriced. Don't pay for a private biking tour. Go yourself. The prices for those are outrageous. Download All Trails and go it on your own. Otherwise homes are going to run you $350 per person. That's just not worth it unless you middle name is "moneybags".

Balloon drop cause a drink spillage, not cleaned for over 45 minutes 6. No announcements of activities, just a program 7. Unpaid kids were sneaking game cards and tshirt from unattended table 8. Apple cider toast cups were left out with no supervision, kids would sip then leave and other unsuspecting kids would take that cup and drink from it. 9. Lack of trashcans available 10. Girl bartender/manager - super friendly & I understand her situation... but disappearing for 15 min after dropping off food (that you KNEW was incorrect & horrible) is not ok. Even if my food was right it was cold and soggy by the time she made it back for me to try to even pay. Another guy at the bar was wondering around looking for her for some time just to pay for his 1 beer! I did ask for the pizza to be free because at that point it had already been an hour... and then due to their mess up, it was a an hour & 45 min Togo order for pizza wings and a salad... which I originally came to order at 12p when they were supposed to open. Sounds like some staff quit so they opened up 4 hours late... get it!! When we arrived at Poco, we upgraded to a King room close to the lobby with a balcony, a view and 2 sinks. Our view was not of red rock mountains as much, but we did have a beautiful view of the serenity lawns which I believe used to be a golf course. Very peaceful. I'm soooooo glad we upgraded because we sat on our balcony several times a day and enjoyed the view. Having separate sinks was really nice also. The hotel is not fancy, but it is super convenient and had all of the amenities that we needed. Had a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant on site. We ordered Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with fresh blueberry glaze. Our breakfast was probably the best one that we had the entire trip. Sooo delicious. Make sure you go!!! Yummy. Would highly recommend the restaurant! Great food, view and service. We got there rather early around 8 AM and had a place to ourselves. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a beautiful morning. Breakfast is not complementary, but definitely worth the price. We used the gym facilities everyday. The cross trainer machine was great for cardio, clean and well maintained. They provide towels. The jacuzzi outside wasn't hot enough for my liking so I passed. Bummer. That's the only area of the hotel that could be nicer-pool and jacuzzi. Kinda looked tired in general. Could use an update. The best part about Poco Diablo is the location. It's super easy to hop on the shuttle for $1 and make it to the downtown tourist section of Sedona. There were other shuttles also available that were free, but they only ran Thursday through Sunday and we were there mid week, so we were not able to use them. The shuttle conveniently comes to the Poco Diablo parking lot adjacent to the lobby. Super convenient. Someone from the resort texted my cell phone and asked if we needed anything. They checked up on us daily and if we had any questions at all, which I did several times throughout our stay, I could just text them. Each time, they would text me a response within 5 min. I found this much more convenient than using the hotel phone and calling the front desk. I really liked the option to text. I have not experienced that before at a hotel.

They disguise the call as a local call or from an area code in your state. This went on for weeks until I finally got to their marketing department. It feels like a very cheap place to stay with these calls. This hotel is dated, room service is bad. Waited about 45 min to check in. They said they are needing to hire more staff. I was ok with this until these marking calls started and they have not stopped after asking to be removed from their list. If your lonely and want to speak with someone multiple times per day, stay here.

I love seeing new places pop up here, especially when they offer something unique. This one did: an 18-hole putting mini-golf course. Recently opened, PuttTek brings something fresh to Flagstaff. It's a fun activity for groups, kids, and even a great option for date night! They're still in their growth phase, but you can already see the potential as they continue to expand. Food will be coming soon, but they currently have beverages, snacks, and ice cream. It was a pleasure meeting Kyle and Carson, and they're excited for what's ahead once winter is behind us. I'll definitely be returning -- and may even host an event here through my employer!
