Visited in July 11, which was the 6th year running. This is a fabulous hotel in THE best setting in…read morethe champagne region. Sitting high above the Vineyards the views are just stunning.
Hotel reception staff are very professional and friendly and helpful.
The rooms are beautiful, each individually decorated and very comfortable.
The bathrooms are mostly Travertine with both shower and baths that are HUGE.
Each room has it's own personality, each have the amazing views. Some have balconies some have terraces and all having been recently re furbished.
For breakfast there is a good choice of fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses, meats and eggs and champagne ofcourse!
The gastronmic restaurant serves superb cuisine and is extremely elegant. Overlooks the vineyards, when it gets dark it is so romantic as you can see all the twinkling lights from near small villages.
There is no swimming pool, no spa if you want all that then go and stay in a souless chain, this hotel is all about the location, the fantastic staff and the great hospitality they extend to you. Nothing is too much trouble and they really make you feel relaxed and special. Its peaceful and truly provides a get away from it all experience.
Plenty of parking, lovely walks and close by to some cute little villages and near Epernay which is worth a visit. Book a tour of one of the Champagne Houses it's a must!
