The company does general contracting, commercial and residential, and they know how to put roofs on. They have roofing teams. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge displayed from the start by Derek and, later, Deven as they guided me through the process. They worked with me and my insurance company to work out the details of a major shingle and hardware replacement for my house and a storage building. I'd not noticed the need for a shingle replacement on the latter roof. The day of the job, the team came out and, much to my wife's and my surprise, it was done by sundown, working in 100-degree heat. One day. We'd expected two. They did a masterful job, shingling our 1800+ sq. ft. home and a 12 x 24' storage building, and we were additionally very pleased with how thorough their cleanup was. We've found very few nails and other roofing material around the buildings since the job. They really cleaned up well. I couldn't be more pleased. And this was a company that traveled 100 miles over a state line to do the work. I highly recommend ACM Development for roofing work.

During the construction phase concerns were brought up regarding pad height not matching pre-existing driveway as requested. Since I pulled the permit, they refuse to go back and fix the building/pad as "I am the contractor". Malletts inspector offered to make an easy fix (build a ramp and cement pour time) if I paid him and his concrete crew $1500 on the side. Still waiting for doors to be installed to complete this project. Would not recommend this company. Most positive reviews are due to a discount Mallett offers at contract time. EDIT: Follow up, doors have been delayed due to their employees being picked up by ICE.

Jason assured me that any and all problems would be corrected at their expense and has failed to respond to calls and texts. Decking boards popping up (was not aware that the we're using nail gun instead of screws til too late), deck sloping wrong direction ( channels water toward house instead of away from house and off deck), many, many boards split by sloppy nailing at end of boards, many sloppy angled cuts appear free handed, railing not notched out at posts, posts extend above railing on steps (also railing is uneven), structural support (8x8) tied to the frame with 3/8" lag screws instead of galvanized bolts, stair stringer cut too short and instead of starting over with new boards they scabbed off of the short boards , did not install any flashing against home and basically left a mess upon completion. He did the inspection…read morewith my realitor before I arrived and gave me a summary of it when I showed for my appointed time. He even told me everything was explained and documented in pictures in a report he emailed later on. He failed to mention that there were two exterior windows that were not properly sealed and they can be opened from the outside. When I talked to the owner of the company he told me he didn't see anything wrong with it and It was just cosmetic. His advise to me was to open the window and put in blinds so that no one would know. I closed on the house before I noticed this . If it were brought to my attention beforehand I would have had a contractor out to give me a second opinion. After moving into the house I went into my attic and found exposed wiring that have no junction boxes and insecure wiring. I highly suggest you do NOT go with this company. If you do decide to use them you need to make sure you are included at the time of the inspection. I'm just wonder what the next thing I will find wrong will be.
