Admission is free on Sunday. The museum is 4 floors of well curated exhibits. Current exhibits, April 2026, include 'All about shoes' which chronicles the history of shoes, 'Rough and Ready: the history of cowboy boots' and 'André Perugla: a design legend unveiled'. While I was there, they were preparing for a new exhibit so the 'Sneakers and Artists' exhibit was closed. I was told they have new exhibits every 18 months. There is a small gift shop in the lobby. I spent approximately an hour and a half in the museum. Staff was informative and clearly passionate about the museum. I recommend a visit to The Bata Shoe Museum

Mackenzie lived here until his death in 1861, and in 1967 a new addition was built to re-create a 19th-century printing shop.
