Out of all…read morethe many frustrations Bradley gave me, nothing was worse than finding out I needed multiple extra thousands of dollars I did not have because the financial office told me I was receiving aid I was not. I consistently had technical issues registering for classes that required multiple meetings with different advisors to resolve. Many classes were offered with only one section and overlapping with times of other classes in my major. Combined with Bradley cancelling classes to save themselves some money it made it difficult to take full time hours unless I was one of the first 20 people to register for a class. Frequently a random fee from something would cause a registration hold, making it far too late to register for these classes even without the technical issues every time. I also consistently had issues receiving credit for classes I completed on my transcript, which caused further technical issues registering for classes and took multiple years of requesting different advisors to fix. Bradley failed to ever actually assign me an advisor after I changed my major at my first semester at the college which was another issue I had to resolve. The video game design program has many nice professors trying their best, but there are a lot of instances in which I felt the program was still being tested and figured out (e.g. board game design class being labeled as writing intensive and just having us write in journals, which was ultimately positive in that I didn't have to take an extra writing intensive class but still odd, or a "Practicum" class in which everyone gets to spend time and money listening to very basic business advice about networking being good and being open to possibilities in your career). I wish I had gone to any other college.

For their online programs, they need to gear their expectations towards non-traditional students and stop baby sitting those of us who are 50+ years old.

They all have terrible attitudes and the school runs on the bare minimum approach from the administration to the teachers. Worst teachers ever, they're just present enough to collect their pay. Graduation day happened this past weekend at Bradley. The town was filled with family to celebrate…read morea wonderful day for those that spent four years drowning in books and studies to be able to get to this time in their life, moving on to bigger and better things. The campus is huge with many buildings. The graduation was held in their stadium, which meant, no cold winds, no 90 degree temps to worry about. The stadium held all those that wanted to attend without any tickets being given out. It was a wonderful celebration for anyone that attended. The area has many apartments available for students, the stores and restaurants are very close to the apartments, large shopping centers within driving distance, good restaurants, great bar scene for those who are 21, a good environment for students. Our graduate did graduate with honors so we know that the profs must know what they are doing to peak the interest of the students.

As big a school as it is, and as 'affordable' as it may seem, and how convenient it all looks prospectively- it is exactly as it's labeled; a community college between a river and a corn field. I beg you, for as long as I had to suffer at this place, DO NOT ENROLL HERE. It may cost more, but going to another school will save you heartache, headache, and a few panic attacks.
