Then, when I left, the same day two of my nails chipped. I went back and they re-did the nails, but then the exact same one chipped once more the same day. Less than a week after my appointment, both thumbs have chipped, and the two original chipped nails are worse off. And this is after using gloves to wash dishes. I wouldn't pay for the shellac here and I think I will be going to another salon from now on. I have yet to find a good manicure in Copenhagen...

Read their response to my initial review to learn from my mistake, if you want a full service pedicure get the Organic Spa Pedi. So purely based on the services I received (and not my expectation) I update my review to a 5 star rating for quality, but was tempted to give a 4 for cost... Although I know Copenhagen is just a really pricey city, so I don't feel good about docking a start for cost. Just know it's a little more money than the average American pedi.

One tech half did the pedicure and the next nail tech had to finish the job. When the lady kept trying to use nail polish remover on my nails that has Shellac, I said look I have gel on my nails. She ignored me and kept scrubbing my nails harder then pulled out the drill. I snatched my hands back and said look do you know what you are doing. Everyone in the shop speaks English so they all looked at me. I told the shop manager look I have shellac and she said I know... I said well tell her. The lady got up and put water in a bowl... I said what is she doing?!?! I said I don't want nothing else - no manicure and shellac. 1.5 hours (at the in the shop) and 400 DKK ($61.48) later for a pedicure that wasn't completed properly the first time. The shop manager tried to tell me they didn't accept MasterCard and I said it worked just fine last time. She gestured to take my credit card and that's not customary in Denmark. I kept my card in my hand and swiped it then put my pin into the machine. I grabbed the receipt and stormed out to write this review. I won't waste another dime here again. Let's not talk about the disorganization of the walk-in process... That's an another review all by itself. I need to find another nail shop immediately because I needed the service today (chipped nail polish on nails and growth).

I had a bad gel done at another salon and two separate people helped me take off the old ones and redo my nails. Also, they had great colors! They use CDC Shellac, which is an awesome brand. The owner helped me with my nails. She was incredibly friendly and we had great conversation about travel, Copenhagen, and life in America and Europe. I would definitely recommend going here for a more American salon experience! Also, it is conveniently located near Vesterport Station and across the street from Espresso House, if you want a quick coffee or bite to eat. Overall a great salon with a great experience.

The woman was patient and persistent, and got every last bit off... replacement manicure was quick and polished. She also did my brows at a last minute request (tint & wax), and got them exactly how I like them. So glad I found this spot!
