Alas prices, small portions and shoddy service ruin the experience, which would have been 4 stars otherwise.

A trip to Florence would not be complete without dinner at Trattoria Bibe…read more Bibe's located in Galluzzo neighborhood of Florence. (about 15 muntjac from the center of Florence). This is the place to go to experience fine Tuscan cuisine and wines at reasonable prices. I recommend Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, delicious, teamed with fried fingerling potatoes, and fresh peas you'll have a meal fit for a king.

It is a great little neighborhood pizzeria and spaghetteria. The staff is really concerned about making sure you have a great experience. The pizzas are wonderful, cooked in a wood-fired oven. I tried a few places and I finally hit the jackpot when I stumbled into this place. Not exacly downtown. But the couchsurfing dude where I'm staying lives close to this place. The burger was awesome. The atmosphere is somewhere in between a bar - italian style of course - a grocery store and a restaurant. The sandwiches and pasta also looked good. If you want fancy, this is not the place. If you want a great hamburger, this place is great.

Cocktails and food were both winners, and complimented each other well. Prices are reasonable. Wifi is also available if needed. We had the veggie medley (amazing sauce accompanying it), bulgogi beef lettuce wrap (good portion; loved the flavour), Japanese noodles (refreshing and mildly flavoured), Seoul fried chicken (superb!). As for drinks we had a few, and all were great and listed in order of preference--Don't kill the zombies (tiki style drink; hard to put it down), Don't be so happy, you're not tequila (smooth with smokey mezcal), and another tequila based drink. For dessert we had green tea tiramisu, which was perfectly green tea forward.
