Once a week my Father took my mother and I to the Capri for Italian food. On many occasions I thought the candles were for decoration,,,,not so. The Spaghetti was one of my fondest memories and my mother never quite got the hang of duplicating it. The Capri was my first introduction to "meatballs"...I remain addicted to them. I returned to the Capri in the 70's, 80's and 90's and while the charm and simplicity of the Capri I first encountered is still in the walls but hard to find....the food is as it always was, outstanding.

We were lucky enough to get a table. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated quite quickly and had menus in our hands. The service here is super friendly and welcoming. They have a normal menu and a daily specials board. I ordered the Bärlauch Rissotto with fish for my main and it was very nice. We also had a nice bottle of Italian wine. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The flavours were intense and did not need anything else added to it. The ambience is quite nice and its not very noisy either. The interior is well done and all the tables had nice white tablecloths on them and so on. Whilst it looks like an upmarket place, the prices are not. I would happily come back here again for a meal. A nice place for dinner in Wurzburg.
