We had a four course meal and the best ever red wine that I've had so far in our two week stay in Sicily. However, please note you wine snobs, I am not a wine connoisseur. All I care about is this red wine did not bother my temperamental stomach. It went down so smoothly that my friend Laura and I finished two bottles in a space of two hours. I think the sulfites were low and the wine was not pasteurized so overall, it was tummy friendly. The four course meal that we had was also to die for!!! I accidentally poured some of the wine into my olive tapenade dip, and dare I say that it actually elevated it. I dipped more than my share of crusty bread. Additionally, for this chicken averse Yelper, their roast chicken was the best that I've had in decades. It was moist , flavorful and did not have that horrible chicken y scent that accompanies GMO, overly growth hormone injected chicken served all over the world.
