This is a review for the restaurant for this location. I wanted a quick snack and I noticed they had a small plate for €1.99, so I *thought* I ordered that. When it came to checking out, it was €3.49. I asked why it was more expensive and the lady said "this is what the system rang up". I pointed at the giant sign which said €1.99, but she insisted the price is right. Okay, fine. It's just a tiny difference. Plus, there was a long line of people waiting to check out so I paid.
Here's where the one star actually comes from. She didn't print out a receipt for me, just started chatting with the next customer in line. I asked for the receipt again, but got ignored. I asked again, louder, but still got ignored. Again, there was a lot of people so I decided to just come back for the receipt after everyone else checked out. Now there's no one in line, but she ignores me AGAIN. Lady, I just want a receipt... I'm not asking you for a refund. I'm just asking for something that IMO should have been given to me without even having to ask for it.
Then another guy, who looked like the manager, came over and only then was I no longer ignored. Turns out she didn't know how to print out the receipt after the fact, so the guy had to help her. He also explained that there was a dish for €1.99, but it was sold out so they gave me the more expensive dish (without me knowing). To be honest, when I had sat down to eat, I already had a suspicion that was the case, but I do appreciate the guy for taking the 2 seconds needed to explain that.
I get that if I'm yelling, if I'm cursing, if I'm insulting, then by all means ignore me. But if all I'm saying is, "please give me the receipt", then I shouldn't be ignored... Rude much? Sigh.
