Ok, this is gonna be a short review. I already wrote one for the Ikea at Zličín in the past. This Ikea at Černý Most is more or less the same. It seems to me that it´s a bit smaller, but still huge of course. Anyway, as I said there are not many differencies so it´s really only up to you where you live and which of the Ikeas is closer. Tento týden jsem byl s kamarády v Ikei na Zličíně a zastavili jsme se v jídelně na jídlo. Mám otřesný zážitek! Dal jsem si salát s krevetami a majonézou. Nespal jsem a zvracel jsem celou noc. Zajímalo by mě jak dlouho tam to jídlo bylo. Tohle nikomu nepřeju! Strašný zážitek. I visited IKEA this week and had a shrimp salad with mayonnaise in the cafeteria. It was a horrible experience. I spent the whole night vomiting, couldn't sleep at all, and felt extremely sick. The food definitely did not seem fresh. I truly wouldn't wish this experience on anyone! read more

This Ikea is located a little way outside of Prague city center, but is pretty easy to get to - Yellow line to Černý Most and right when you get off,  walk downstairs to bus #12 which goes only to and from the Ikea. The bus comes every 10 minutes.  Uber is also an option if you don't drive.  So on the weekend,  this place is crazy packed! I felt like I was going to get ran over by the speed shoppers! Was hard to really browse like I wanted. For a more leisurely shop I went first thing on a Monday morning. Much better.  I had a return and found English-speaking employees were limited (non existent) in this store. But, return center is on the main floor,  all the way to the right, next to cashiers.  Just take a number at the automated kiosk - there is an "English" option. There is a little sitting area here and a charging station for phones etc. In this area you will also find the" self wrap" area (packing paper and shrink wrap)  where you package your breakables after check out.  Unless you bring your own shopping bag,  you will have to purchase one at the register (if needed). What else ... well as you know Ikea sells ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you need for house decor (and some things you didn't know you needed). I didn't check out the cafe this time but it is huge! I picked up a few tiny items for my kitchen this time and saw some cute art work and mirrors I may go back for. read more

What are you doing to me Cerny Most Ikea? We used to be so good together. We used work perfectly in tandem. However, these last few times something seems to be wrong. You were out of two of the objects I wanted. Your staff was more grumpy than usual. The parents were less in control of the children than ever. I really hope it is just a one time thing or I am going to have to start going to Zlicin for my big blue box fix. read more
