This Ikea is located a little way outside of Prague city center, but is pretty easy to get to - Yellow line to Černý Most and right when you get off, walk downstairs to bus #12 which goes only to and from the Ikea. The bus comes every 10 minutes. Uber is also an option if you don't drive.
So on the weekend, this place is crazy packed! I felt like I was going to get ran over by the speed shoppers! Was hard to really browse like I wanted.
For a more leisurely shop I went first thing on a Monday morning. Much better. I had a return and found English-speaking employees were limited (non existent) in this store. But, return center is on the main floor, all the way to the right, next to cashiers. Just take a number at the automated kiosk - there is an "English" option. There is a little sitting area here and a charging station for phones etc. In this area you will also find the" self wrap" area (packing paper and shrink wrap) where you package your breakables after check out. Unless you bring your own shopping bag, you will have to purchase one at the register (if needed).
What else ... well as you know Ikea sells ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you need for house decor (and some things you didn't know you needed). I didn't check out the cafe this time but it is huge! I picked up a few tiny items for my kitchen this time and saw some cute art work and mirrors I may go back for. read more
