I prefer this Ikea to the one in Corsico, although once inside, mostly all of them are the same, still, I find this one bigger and better organized (haven't been to the one in San Donato so I can't say about that one). You know the formula: top floor for displays (and those cool spaces where they show you how to use the tiny space you have available), the restaurant and then downstairs to fill your bags, head to the furniture shelves and then off to pay - you don't realize how much you're spending until then... Luckily there's a final snack bar and the food corner to make you forget (and shop some more).
I love the meatballs at the restaurant, the large seating area and the free soda refills.
I strongly advise to register and get the free Ikea Family card, you get discounts on different products every month and free coffee in the food corner.
Also, you can come here with your significant other and not buy anything, just to test the strenght of the relationship, since they say that all couples fight at Ikea... :)
(oh, forgot, lots of parking space available, and if you don't have a car, there's a shuttle bus from the Cologno Nord metro station, costs 2€ round trip, that you can get back as a discount in your purchase - check the website for the timetable) read more
