IKEA has disappointed me with the worst shopping nightmare. it's been 6 months and I still have neither a clear information nor refund and yet every time I personally flight to Lisbon to find out what is going on with my order, im feeded new lies.
In resume, i purchase several items and paid for the delivery, one item was delivered damaged and had missing parts which they promised to deliver next day and collect the damaged part. after chasing IKEA after 3, they unilaterally refunded €69 out of €298 to cover the damaged part. nothing said about the missing part.
After this, I had to visit the store few times for them to finally collect the damaged parts, now to process the refund, i was inform it will take two month to get into my account but it has been processed. another month gone and I had to visit them to be informed that they have no information of what was collected so it took me hours waiting to be told that the collection team, did not register complete items , hence they can only refund €74, asked to review their orders and contact me, which they promise they would. another month gone nothing happened, had to call and was given a reference number and promised this would be solved soon, another month gone, when I called i was informed that my bank refused a payment of €40. that if im not happy I shall contact them.
In conclusion, IKEA treat customers, with no respect, no professionalism, no appreciation, no commitment, no ethic, ...
IT took IKEA 6 months to inform me my bank refuse payment.
IKEA deserves 5 STARS of incompetence and disrespect. read more
