The apple tart was warm and delicious. They addition if the ice cream and fruit really worked as a nice touch to the dish. My friend ordered the cheesecake and it was absolutely divine! Pro tip- You definitely want to grab a seat by the window or right outside! This is a very busy corner and there's another of good people watching and entertainment for you to see. Cheers!

Save yourself the €300 it cost me to replace my window. I am not counting on the expenses with extra hotel overnight and calls to my insurance company (abroad). What about the stress to go to a police station, find a car glass business, manage my hotel booking in another country, etc. The language is a barrier we should think of as well. I didn't leave anything visible inside my car. There was no attendant in the booth at the time I was picking up my car (3:00 pm). I had to press a button to talk to a person that gave me some stupid excuses in order to say they don't have any responsibilities on what happened (like "if there aren't any video cameras pointing to your car, we can't do anything" !!!). The problem is that there is no surveillance camera in the first level to protect the parked cars! It is important to mention that another guest of the same hotel I stayed at had a similar problem at the same car parking one month ago. I have asked to the hotel attendant to warn new guests with car about the bad experiences faced by previous guests. The thief or thieves will continue to steal without having any punishment. The car parking should respect their customers by offering a good and safe service! In a nutshell: do not park here! And I would like to know if there is any way to sue the car parking for all the trouble it caused to me.

I'm an interior design addict, especially if it's Scandinavian, so I had to go. HAY is all about cozy minimalism: pure lines with natural materials and playful colours. The mix of furniture pieces and a wide range of accessories makes it accessible for everyone's wallet. The location of the HAY store is remarkable too. You have to go through an ally to get to the shop, so there's no display window. A bold choice for a shop, but HAY already has quite a firm fan base, so I guess it won't be a problem in the end. The building was an old orphanage, which iron cribs gave the name to the entire street, IJzerwaag (coming from 'ijzer' and 'wieg', which means 'iron crib' in Dutch). Now the building is light with lots of windows. I especially recommend HAY for its office accessories. Colourful maps and storage items, pretty block notes, rulers and so on... The brand has turned the dull into the delightful.
