We nabbed one of the two handicapped parking spots in front since mom needs to be close. We walked in and it was clean and well lit, with gentle music. Lots of open booths and not too cold! We wanted waffles for dinner so we were excited. After being seated right away, our sweet waitress Letty came by and brought ua menus ans asked what drinks we would like. I ordered a milk and mom got coffee. We then had fun looking at the large menu with many choices. Letty told us kids eat for free after 3! That's good to know when my nieces come to visit with their kids (all under 12). Letty brougth our drinks right away. Mom then ordered a junior waffle that comes with eggs and bacon, as she is old and cannot eat much. I ordered a waffle meal (eggs and onions and bacon). The food came pretty quickly and we enjoyed our meal. Letty was perfect and attentive. I asked and we got a senior discount too. The waffles were delicious ans the eggs were light ans fluffy. Chicken and Waffle never disappoint. Their buttermilk pancakes are delicious too. I got the Split Decision Breakfast which came with eggs, bacon, sausage, 1 French toast, and 2 pancakes. It really did feel like the perfect happy medium for someone as indecisive as me. The only thing that would've made it perfect would've been to have a side of hash browns, but alas~ this is an imperfect world. The server did not know the importance of breaking the fast at a specific time. We were left waiting for our orders to be taken, and the server even neglected to bring us water for Iftar. After waiting for 20 minutes and with almost no time left to break our fast, we had to leave because it seemed like it would take another hour to get our orders. Online Order: Received family pak + omelette and drinks. I added Sour Cream for my omelette and Cheese for the family pak eggs. I did not receive my add-on options. I contacted iHop and they told me that they could not refund me until 1 week or when the manager comes in one week. So you're aware, if you order online and your order has some glitches, just eat it because you already paid. Ihop is NOT good at problem resolution as it pertains to the online ordering. A simple fix would be to take a pic a send it to them, then them send me a credit. Another tip, I kno everyone doesn't speak English but please have one of the best English speaking workers answer the phone. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!! 6/28/23- one server only and who speaks/understands little English. Management, if any, won't respond I won't bother with specifics, but here's a rundown: Food was horrible/inedible. My burger was cooked to charcoal, fries cold and hard and onion rings on burger were rock hard, and literally 3 drops of bbq sauce (on a bbq burger!). Server brought me some on side out of fridge, so it was freezing cold. Husband's "ham and eggs" is such a disaster of a story I don't have energy to type it out.
