I said may I have a hot chocolate she said our machine is broken and I could warm up the milk in the microwave but it will not taste right. If I could leave a lower review I would, I typically am relatively impressed and even satisfied with my food and overall service from this ihop location but after today I wouldn't recommend anyone dine or order take out from this location. I believe management at this location has changed because when I asked to speak to a manager I was not met with the usual lady I've seen working here but rather by another woman wearing glasses. When I asked my order was not ready as scheduled she was completely short, rude and overall lacked basic customer service skills that any basic employee should have; in fact I was treated and responded to better by nearly all other team members in the restaurant. I'm not sure who is in charge of managing management at this location but the new female manager you have in place is going to run this business to the ground, I recommend bringing back the other woman if possible as soon as you can. Moving on to the pace of the food that was funneling through the kitchen, it was very obvious that the cooks on staff are not prepared or understaffed severely because those are the only two reasons why food would have a near 2 hour delay, it's absolutely ridiculous. There is an evident disconnect between the people who pack food and the people who cook it, this location needs to get a grip before they lose more than just my own business. read more

But service have always been relatively quick considering the amount of people they serve. Staffs are always friendly and accommodating. Love Josie! She's always on top of things! Went in today because the one close to me on university, in riverside, has terrible service. But this one has made me end my patronage of ihop's altogether. We called in to place and order for pick up and in the time it takes to drive from my home in riverside to The middle of Moreno Valley I was literally still on hold as I walked in just to get the total. This is where the true problems began. We get our food pay and drive home for me to sit down prepare to eat to notice that the PANCAKES in my PANCAKE COMBO are missing??? I call and let them know that I know have to drive from riverside to get the main portion of my order. I then notice that my CHEESE eggs have no cheese as well and call to make sure that's correct as well. I drive back 60min and 40miles after placing my order for them to say sorry and hand me a card that says 25% off my next purchase of $15 or more AS IF I'd give this establishment anymore of my hard earned money. Whatever, so we asked if he waited OUTSIDE of the building until his food arrived, would he be permitted entrance to eat, as eating was the only time we could take our masks off.
