Fontana sierra I hop was very disappointing. I spent almost $40 for two breakfast meals an additional $10 was added onto my bill. Not sure if that was tip or not but I had already left them a tip when I came to pick it up I had to wait and a half hour longer than they said, when I called back to find out why there was an extra $10 from the price I was quoted when I called the order in I never received a call back. Normally I wouldn't post a review for a food chain but yesterday's experience prompted a review. As you enter there is a chalkboard that advises you to eat quickly because there are vultures waiting. Yes, an employee actually took the time to write that insult on a dry board. Very offensive. The two star review is for the managers lack of customer service. While dining I found a short hair in my breakfast. Since the waitress was extremely busy, my daughter in law walked over the manager and brought it to his attention. He took no interest in her concern and instead advised her to let the waitress know. No apology, no concern, simply a dismissal. Our server Nancy gets four and a half stars. My husband and I are regular customers here at ihop , the service is always superb. One server in particular always goes above and beyond , and that's Ms.Lucia. She makes sure the food comes out hot, we have all our utensils and always checks back to see how we are doing. She does a great job and all with a smile on her face. Food is OK. I don't get those who love this place. Just seems ok and overpriced place for pancakes. The value is just not there for me. My $12 breakfast would be in line with value if it was priced more like $7-9. I go cause my wife loves the pancakes and one of the syrups that she can't get at other places. Now, if I want a real pancake, I'll go to Guasti Cafe in Chino (those that have been there know what I'm talking about) where you only need one! lol read more

We got sat at our table at 10:30 am. I guess they were having trouble getting food out. We were patient and waited over an hour and a half. Then we saw tables next to us were getting sat and eventually their food coming out. I asked a waitress (not ours) if I could get an eta on our food. The other tables got sat 15 min ago so where is my food?? She said she would check and left. 10 min later she comes back "you haven't gotten your food yet?" Um no? Another 5 min and the manager comes to tell us that our waitress had walked out. Did they not think to check on her tables? There was 3 tables next to us that got sat and they didn't think to check on the couple just sitting there with just their drinks?? The manager asked if we wanted our food made but we walked out. I wasn't going to wait even more and then pay $40+. He didn't even offer a discount. The staff behaved disrespectfully gossiping about the waitress that walked out instead of checking on their customers. We went this morning because it was their first day opening. We hadn't even ordered our food yet before a homeless man in a towel with a bag full of other towels and clothes walked out of the bathroom and walked right out. I was bothered because we are still on the defense about Covid-19 and making sure things are thoroughly cleaned. When I spoke to the manager, Manuel, about it he had an attitude of "there's nothing I can do". He just told me that the bathrooms are open to the public and he can't assume someone has Covid-19. The homeless man walking in with a bag of clothes and towels would have had to walk right past him to get to the bathroom for his "shower". I was completely disappointed with their response to this and their lack of concern for their customer's health. read more

I had forgotten to post a review. I held my daughter's school fund raiser at this location, back in November. I spoke to Marisol and Veronica during the process of setting up the PTA Fundraiser and they were great and pleasant to speak with the entire time. The day of the event began kind of rough, I received phone calls from parents in the first hour stating the box was not ready for the receipts and they didn't receive a copy to place into the box; however, by lunch time it seemed things were running smoothly. The only thing is I wished IHOP would let us promote the event outside of the restaurant other than the school. IHOP made close to $800 and 30% of that went back to the school. Pretty good for only having to print the cost of the flyers. Thank you for your contribution and look forward to doing business with you in the future again. read more
