New Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Crepes
Tulina S.

All my favorites are gone sadly- missed stuffed French toast Service was to the point and adequate My lemon ricotta crepe was fine but ricotta was grainy. The country fried steak was decent .

This is your typical IHOP. Our server did a great job getting to us quickly and taking our order. Our food was good. I really enjoyed the lemon ricotta French toast.

This visit is the last I will make. IHOP has always been an economical alternative to overpriced breakfast restaurants. The food is the same bland, boring fare. But, the prices have increased by a factor of 4x. I can go to any of the previously "overpriced" options and get a delicious breakfast for less money than IHOP. And, I would not have to listen to the staff's loud discussion of their lives.

Love it or not IHOP is always consistent, whether you are starting your day or are looking for the late night snack to satisfy the hunger that comes with a night out drinking. To be honest I always order something from the breakfast menu no matter the time of day. Many options to choose from, salty, sweet, or savory, it comes out hot and plenty of it. I like that they leave the coffee pot on the table for you so it become self serve and you never have to wait for a refill. They have a full menu to choose from and happily will cook any of it any time of the day, so order that cheese burger for breakfast if you like.

I don't usually do this but... Have you ever heard someone preface an action with this statement? Chances are they're fibbing and usually do whatever they are claiming they "usually don't do" pretty regularly. Well I don't usually do IHOP; however I eat pancakes on a regular. Stopped into the HOP for today's $.58 short stack in celebration of their 58th birthday. I wasn't entirely disappointed being that my tab was under $5 including tip. I opted for a blueberry stack which was a $1.99 up-charge today...small change. Nathan was a very efficient server; he even got all of my order alterations down to a tee. I appreciated his effort. Were my pancakes perfect, absolutely not. Were they good, yes indeed. Would I return to this location, certainly. It was well kept with friendly, prompt service. ~Christy

Food was good but not spectacular, as I would expect from a chain restaurant. Server was attentive and the restaurant was clean.

Lovely service. Best sirloin tips I've ever had in an IHOP (and it's my regular dish). They definitely have some talent in the kitchen.

Been waiting an hour for food, even though it is not busy at all. This is unacceptable. This is all the chefs fault, but the food is good.

The ambiance is an elevated casual and you can choose to sit in the darkened bar area or the lighter, brighter glassed off area. They also offer private booths, which are quite cool. Today I was meeting up with a former work colleague and friend from Australia. It just so happened that we were in town at the same time. She was having a business lunch meeting at Annie Gunn's, so we decided to meet there after the meeting. I didn't eat, but they did during their meeting and quite enjoyed the food. The three of us (my former colleague and a current colleague of hers) all enjoyed a tea while we caught up. It absolutely tasted fresh brewed. Their first waiter left without clearing the table, so when the new server cleared it up and was so kind, she was rewarded with a nice tip and some Lindt pistachio truffles, which I brought for my friends. 98% of my reviews include photos, but because we were all caught up in conversation, I didn't take any this time. I guarantee you will love the ambiance, service and food.

You can imagine my utter delight, then, when I was presented with an opportunity to purchase such a meal, as part of a promotion Hi-Pointe is running with 4 Hands, a local running group and a number of other local restaurants. The way it works is, you visit 10 of these restaurants in the span of about a month, purchase a menu item created in collaboration with 4 Hands, run for at least one mile and then post about it on social media. If you visit all 10, you get a case of City Wide, a t-shirt and a few other things that probably don't add up to the cost of the 10 menu items. I wasn't sure if I was going to bother, in part because it began while I was training for a marathon and I couldn't afford to be eating all of those sandwiches, ice cream and what have you, let alone the beer. Plus, who has that kind of money? But I was there, to meet up with another group I run with, so I figured I'd go ahead. If I changed my mind at a later date, I'd have to come back. I work nearby, but I'm not trying to visit the cursed District if I don't have to. With all due respect. Hi-Pointe's #CITYWIDE10 promotion had been running for two days at this point, but apparently no one had ordered it. A guy in the back who looked like a homeless version of Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley had to open a sleeve of the cardboard boxes. I would have refused to accept the meal, if it didn't come in the box, even if it still counted towards the contest, as a matter of principle. The Burg Box, as they're calling it, comes with a burger, fries, a 12 oz can of City Wide and a beer koozie--which I guess functions as the toy in this equation. Certainly, it could be used as a toy, if you're especially special-needs. A dog would have a field day with it. I could have used a 16 oz can of City Wide, but I couldn't complain too much, since it was pretty much free. I only paid $14.99 for the whole thing. They don't even let you eat the free peanuts at Five Guys for $15. Also, the bigger can might not fit in the box, and it was important that all the other patrons, including several girls, saw me carrying my meal to the al fresco dining section like a little suitcase. I hadn't had a burger from Hi-Pointe since the one on McCausland opened, back in the '70s. Now I'm wondering what I was thinking. Well, aside from not having any money. It might have been worth becoming one of those guys who stands around in Walmart and asks you who your cell phone provider is. The meat is seasoned to the point where even the most unemployed X f/k/a Twitter users would approve. The patented "smash burger" process produces a crust on its exterior like a classy well-done steak. It's a large enough piece of meat (no Diddy) that it both hangs over the side of the bun and isn't reduced to the consistency of shoe leather as a result of being flattened into the griddle. The fries are those seasoned fries you might get at a Rally's or somewhere. Which I guess you have to do if you're starting a restaurant, since there's no way you can go head-to-head with McDonald's and emerge victorious. Have you ever tried eating the fries at an In-N-Out? It's disgusting! The fact that Hi-Pointe didn't make this mistake just goes to show the thought they put into this operation.

We started with drinks, the circle 7 old fashion and their lemonade, they were both good. The appetizer list had so many good options but we landed in the pickle coins, these were the best fried pickles I have ever had, each was perfectly breaded and fried. For our mains we got the voodoo chicken tacos (with rice and beans) and the garlic lime shrimp tacos (with Mexican street corn). We both loved the tacos, my only complaint was that I wish the dishes were a little warmer temperature wise when they arrived to us. Looking forward to coming back with friends and trying to sit at one of the tables with the self serve beer taps!

I do want the people who run the restaurant to know that ever since they changed the bun for the Bola sandwich, it is equally delicious and the bread is good and nice and soft, but the sandwich is so much harder to eat and that I don't like. And when I say this sandwich is good, i have a young daughter that I didn't think would eat this because she is not a fan of some ingredients, But I have her a bite and she will now go out of her way to get this sandwich for herself... that is impressive lol. I really don't have any negatives for circle seven other than the change in bread which i am sure was done for a reason and did not change the taste, just makes it harder to eat.

Service is pretty consistent to what Ive come to expect with the Mellow franchise and the servers tends to either be extremely friendly and maybe too attentive, or super slammed and still somehow coming by to give updates on food and to top drinks. We like to come hungry and plan on ordering 2 pizzas (since we can never decide on just one) and usually an appetizer. The crust is hand tossed and fluffy! Our favorite pizza is the Great White, but I really haven't tried any of their pizzas and thought it wasn't awesome. Recently been enjoying their new pizza rolls but make sure you get that pesto dip ( wow is it GOOD!) I love the variety even if the options get a little overwhelming and noticed they just added a smash burger to the menu so that's great that they continue to add options! Helps to take a peek at the menu before going in and like I said, bring your appetite! We did have one hiccup when our server charged our card for 100% tip on top of the order total, but luckily we caught that and upon calling to let them know about the charge the front house manager made sure to reverse that and correct the amount.
