Flavorful food. No frills but great service! Menu easily readable for food allergies.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Fantastic food! I had the chicken tikka masala and it was honestly one of the best ones I've ever eaten! The food was filling, perfectly seasoned and I was pleasantly surprised that they made it as spicy as I wanted it! Will definitely try more of their food the next time I'm in Midland

Chicken Biryani, Gobi 65, Garlic Naan

My first experience here was at work when my coworkers ordered for everyone. I enjoyed it and decided to order for myself for the first time and I do not recall the biriyani being so spicy the first time I had it. I ordered mild spice and it was definitely NOT mild to my taste buds sadly. The gobi 65 was a little less spicy. Garlic naan was delicious. If you can't handle spice like me then order with caution. Otherwise, great place for authentic Indian. Online ordering is quick and easy.

Chicken korma and bread basket (garlic naan, cream cheese naan, and cheese naan)

Cannot say enough good things about this place! The food was phenomenal. The cheese naans were out of this world. I got the chicken korma, mild and it had quite a kick to it, a bit spicier than other mild kormas I've had at other restaurants but the flavor was amazing. Prices were good and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Andhra Chicken Curry

If you are in Midland MI and want to try Indian food, this is a great place to try. It is a small, clean and well decorated. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations. We ordered the corn soup. Corn soup from India is not like traditional American corn soup but one that has a tasty broth that is spiced with black pepper and fresh spring onions. My wife tried it for the 1st time here and loved it. I found it to be some of the best corn soup. We had the chicken biriyani. It was cooked well and was a great portion size. For people not familiar with Indian food, this is a good dish to start with. We also had the Andhra Chicken Curry. It was flavorful and tasty. We ordered both at a medium spice level. I thought that level is good, but you may want to start with something less spicy. The Gulab Jamun was the perfect dessert. (It is like a fried dough ball in a sweet syrup.) the sweet Lassi was the perfect way to cool our mouths. Overall this was a great restaurant that we will visit if we are in Midland again.

Recommended by an individual who drops in to the restaurant to get a taste of home, when passing through Midland. Modest interior (which I think makes it more endearing) with authentic and wonderfully broad menu items. Many vegetarian options and also - equally as many protein-based options. Idli Dosa is a A nice gem here in Midland.

Great food and service. Can take a bit to get your food, but well worth the wait. Definitely try the cream cheese naan.

This was our first visit…read more.. Cutting to the chase: the food was EXCELLENT, exactly what we ordered, and prepared rapidly without sacrificing quality. EAT HERE!!!! When we first walked in we found the dining room unremarkable but spotless. It smelled great, an awesome sign! The server instantly appeared to greet us, tables were shiny and clean. The server was very nice and efficient as he delivered rinks and we ordered the samosas. The samosas were flaky and perfectly prepared and... not that I care but they were also very pretty and masterfully prepared; starchy perfection in a pastry! My chicken tika masala was perfect and just spicy enough to hurt (a little!). I always order ctm when I visit an Indian place for the first time figuring if they can't get this right nothing will be right. To me ctm is the general tso's chicken of India. They were out of lamb so my wife asked the server's recommendation and she went with that. She enjoyed it immensely. Sorry, I forgot what she ordered and I don't have the receipt to check. They offer a nice selection of naan, we went with the Kashmiri 'cuz we've never tried it before. The naan was perfect and the interior was filled with a spicy paste with nuts. Amazing in just about everything: the provided sauces and also my ctm. The basmatti rice was moist and yet flaky and perfect. Absolutely no notes or complaints - an all together fantastic dining experience. The wife and I eagerly look forward to our next visit. EAT HERE, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered the butter chicken and it was delicious. They give you three different spice options - I went for mild, absolutely no spice, however LOTS of flavor. Next time I might even go for the medium! The garlic naan was pretty solid as well. Although I dinned in, I probably will get to go next time, as the ambiance isn't amazing. Definitely a great place to try even if you've never had Indian food before!

A mixed bag...incredible Tikka Masala, but skip the lamb…read more We stopped in for dinner and had two very different experiences with our entrées. The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolute perfection, velvety, creamy, and hit the perfect spice level. The naan was also excellent, fresh and pillowy. However, I was really disappointed with the Lamb Biryani. The meat was unfortunately dry, extremely fatty, and lacked flavor. I'd previously tried the Butter Chicken, which was decent, so there's definitely potential here if you order the right thing. Pros: Massive parking lot and plenty of indoor seating. They have a buffet! (Didn't realize this until we arrived, but a great perk). Food is well-packaged for takeout. Cons: Service over the phone was a bit "prickly" and felt rushed. Pro Tip: Read the menu on DoorDash before ordering; it actually provides much better descriptions of the dishes than their official website or Toast.

We ordered Paneer Masala, Lamb Curry, naan, and lassi to go. The total came out to just under $60, which I expected to be comparable to other similar places I've tried. I'm from California, so this definitely isn't my first experience with ethnic food. I'm very familiar with these flavors and even cook them myself. Unfortunately, the tadka didn't seem to be cooked long enough because the masala tasted more like Campbell's soup than a traditional curry. We didn't finish the food and ended up ordering from somewhere else. I'm glad I tried it, but personally it wasn't my favorite.

I simply ordered soup, because I feel if the soup is good other food will be. Nope not the case. The soup tasted like it had sugar in it, the lentils were sparse and not cooked enough, and any other flavor in the soup couldn't even try to get through. It was bad. I didn't finish it. I did order samosa, they were actually pretty good but don't get too excited. The pastry was really good and the filling was nice but again no flavor. Even the cilantro sauce was bland. I just don't get it. When I eat Indian food I expect flavor, I want flavor and I love flavor. I won't be back. Best of luck and stop catering to thinking people won't come because you have too much flavor. Goodness knows people need some kick ass flavor in central Michigan. And right now you don't have any. A hot dog would have been a better choice today and I actually don't like hot dogs.
