Finding the passport office was somewhat difficult there are no clear signs in Canal Place, and there are no chairs in the lobby, which made waiting a little uncomfortable. I arrived at 7:15 am for my 7:30 am appointment, and the process itself was very smooth. Everything moved quickly, and I received a call around 11:00 am letting me know my passport was ready. Overall, the experience was straightforward and efficient, and I was able to catch my 3:30 pm flight with no issues. Appreciate yall!

The ladies in this office is about the business! They are fast and efficient. I would advise reviewing the official passport page before going to ensure that you have all required documents. Especially if you are getting new or updated passports for children and you only have one parent. There is a form on the site that must be filled out by the absent parent and notarized within a certain amount of days of your passport appointment. Other than the irritation of having to LEAVE Houston to get a passport I had no other problems. I will also say advise to reach out to your local congress person if you have to leave the state to get a passport. I reached out to the office of my congressman and his office responded the next day by email AND called and left a voicemail but I missed both. Even though I still had to go out of town it was nice knowing the congressman's office was ready to help me. The office is located in Canal Place in the tower section, upstairs. Lots of great stores to browse downstairs after submitting your papers then there is about a 2 hour wait. They will say longer but several people have told me it was shorter for them too.

Mallory and Allison were helpful in getting us last minute reservations to Palo so my husband and I could have an adults only meal while the family watched our kids.
