Casey/Ironclad Construction was referred to me by my electrician. We hired him this past summer to…read moredo a bathroom remodel job that involved knocking down walls to combine our existing bathroom with our walk in closet. It was clear from the start of the work that we hired the right guy for the job. Casey was up front and transparent about pricing, the process (which involved gutting the existing two rooms, re-piping, venting, new drains, new electrical, drywall, drywall texture, two new windows, and even fixing up some discovered and relatively extensive termite damage). Casey also helped coordinate work with our electrical crew and tile guy. Throughout the process my wife and I were so impressed with how clean Casey was despite the demo, dust, and other dirtier aspects of this project. When there were hiccups along the way, Casey let us know what was going on and why, then always did his best to get the job back on track as quickly as possible. He helped me work through some issues with our tile guy, make a big adjustment to the vanity/mirror/electrical last minute, and was always open to explaining things to me and walking me through the work. He was kind and respectful to my whole family and my 1.5 year old daughter got so used to seeing him, she would ask "where's Casey" on the days he wasn't there working. If you are looking for a Jack of all trades, who works clean, and can do all manner of projects, Casey is your guy. We've already had him back to fixed a rotted rim joist and will gladly have him back for future projects big and small. Thank you Casey!

We got our dream bathroom, and for the workmanship I thought the price was good. We were very happy overall and plan on starting our kitchen with Casey in the fall!

But theory is not enough, he helped and pushed me to implement successful practices. As a small business owner or self-employed person, you must have skills in a large variety of different areas. Marketing was one of my weak points, but I have others. When Jaco started to help me improve my marketing, I ran into other weaknesses that held me back, such as time management. The great thing about Jaco was that he was able to shift from a marketing consultant to a business consultant--he helped me with anything that I needed to help me propel my business! Jaco speaks from experience because he is a business owner himself. With his to-the-point style, Jaco has the ability to explain the game of marketing. It's quite challenging to sort through all the data that's out there--and even more challenging to write one's own ad copy. It's also not easy to find a good web person whose prices are in-line with what a self-employed therapist can afford. When I saw Tim's website, I knew I had the right guy. He did not disappoint. 1. I could tell he knew how to DO what I wanted to do: namely, communicate what I offer, so that it speaks to the needs and concerns of the SPECIFIC kinds of people I want to reach. 2. I could also tell, when I first met with him, that he appreciated both what I offer as a professional as well as my understanding of marketing and my writing skills. 3. He was able to help me get more crisp and impacting in my message--and clearer about my target market: my preferred customer(s). His feedback was always direct, respectful, and backed-up by his experience--making it easy to follow. 4. He also helped me find images and photos that would SHOW what I wanted to say--adding a ton more emotion than by just talking about it 5. He showed me exactly how I can maintain and improve my own site over time. 6. Finally, he created what I think is a thing of beauty. Don't you agree? You can see my site at: www.partners4wellbeing.com. In summary, I have to say Tim lives up to his tagline about being a web designer who is also a marketing consultant. You really do get "two for the price of one," which I think makes Tim the best deal in town. Don Ross, LMFT www.partners4wellbeing.com
