deal dental needs to update office, bugs in ceiling light fixtures, brown ceiling tiles from leaks and waiting room furniture has seen better days. Walls need repair and painted. Boxes all over hallway that patients walk past like 40 boxes not 2 or 3 that just came in. I am sure their equipment they put in my mouth is in better repair than the office.... Right???? I have been going here for over 10 Years the is the worst I have even seen the office. Have to spend money to make money doc!!! The Dentist was not concerned about injuring my gums or explaining needed treatment for cracked tooth, truly disappointed. The office staff is kind, seems overwhelmed compared to years past I haven't received requested pricing after two requests. I waited 48 minutes before I got to see a doctor to get my teeth cleaned, but I was told 4 times he'll be right in. The man polishing my teeth got polishing compound ALL over my face. Maybe use less more often sir. Some fluoride treatment was put on my teeth without it being explained to me at all, thank goodness the front office lady at reception could explain to me that I wasn't supposed to eat on it for two hours, because the people working on my teeth told me nothing. I cannot say enough about this office and the incredibly kind and supportive staff members. During my visit Melissa (Lead Technician) and Antoni (Technician Trainee) communicated very well and were meticulous in their work. Dr. Davis was highly skilled, experienced, and efficient. I have never felt so welcome and so comfortable at a dentist's office! The environment of this office feels good. The dental chair actually had a television screens on the wall above the exam chair so you can watch Netflix during the procedure or cleaning, and they show you and go through your X-rays in the room. It was relaxing and most of all pain free. If you're like me and neglected the dentist for too long because of the fear, you have to visit Ideal Dental, their entire staff was beyond amazing and will make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. read more

My husband need much dental work, teeth pulled and new dentures. Went to Ideal in Milton (like to keep our business hometown) As senior citizen's on a fixed income we wanted the Full price for everything that needed to be done. Paid in full. All went well until he went in to get his first reline...it is now an extra 440.00. We were told EVERYTHING was included! We settled on 220.00 but we weren't very happy about it. Then when he went to pick his teeth up after the reline they "found" in his chart an extra 115.00 that wasn't paid, denture hostage! I don't know if it was because we were seniors or their business practice is not very good. read more

I went to Ideal once. While there everyone was pleasant and professional. After going through the list of things I needed I was told they would contact my physician and the contact me to arrange an appointment. Ok. I waited to hear from them. I'm patient & folks are busy these days. So I waited. After a couple of weeks I decided to call them. (Patience gone!) The receptionist said that they don't have people wait, they arrange everything before the patient leaves. Since being a young girl, she has always wanted to be in the dental field. Best dentist experience ever! I had a cracked tooth and was in pain and needed help on a Saturday. I searched Yelp for options and found this one close to my home. They got me in, made the first steps toward fixing my problem. From the first phone call to the assistant to Dr. Shin and everyone in between I was treated with respect and understanding. I have a family dentist in Federal Way who I will never leave but we were in search for a more convenient dentist for my husband who was unhappy with his family dentist of 30+ years. My husband went for a cleaning to my dentist and was shocked that he had 10 fillings that needed to be done plus some other work after very regular checkups over the years. Why wouldn't his other dentist have said anything?? Though we trusted my dentist, we agreed a 2nd opinion would be nice. We found this dentist through Google and the reviews seemed good and the hours were even better for his less than ideal work schedule. They have been great, upfront and honest about his care. They virtually agreed and confirmed what my dentist had previously told him which relieved some of the fear and skepticism. The staff is so nice and helpful to me on the phone and him in the clinic. They have a great referral program and I always have said there is something to be said about an office that takes pride in their appearance; clean, modern and up-to-date. read more

So disappointed. I've lived in Milton for 10 years and maybe I just hold my standards a little higher, but the experience I had with this dental office is beyond disgraceful. After being told by the dentist I needed my tooth pulled right away because of the impaction and infection, I had the front desk set my appointment. Everything went horrible from there. The dentists work was great. Honestly. But EVERYTHING with the paperwork was garbage. The front desk lady took my FMLA paperwork I need for work and took the liberty of filling it out herself, which I let her know CLEARLY I needed the dentist to fill out. To which she included misinformation and said I didn't need any time off EVEN THOUGH I was prescribed a narcotic because the pain was so severe. She said I went in for just an x-ray and exam (lie #1 I got a tooth pulled!). That I didn't need time off (but that it was recommended to take a day or two off [lie #2]). She wrote down that I don't have another appt. (I do. Lie #3). She also filled out all the paperwork and had the dentist sign it, which by the way, I'm pretty positive is ILLEGAL. I like Reign because it's convenient and accommodating of my family's schedule. I can't specifically review the dentists because mine of 20+ years recently moved but they have always had informative and personable professionals as subs when my regular dentist was unavailable. I have never felt like a procedure was recommended just "because". The finance people are upfront with what is covered by insurance and what is not. Everything was great until you come in contact with the "patient coordinator" This person was a high pressure used car salesperson Weirdest experience ever. This is not some place I expected to find this type of high pressure sales technique. It starts out normal enough, she provided me the estimate of my out of pocket expense, provided the different options regarding what things could be done with the cleaning..great! She proceeds to insist that you schedule your appointment right then, ok thats weird, I decline. After asking a few more times...she hisses I am putting it down that you REFUSED treatment. WTF? Honestly I was so caught off guard by all the weirdness, was this person paid on commission? I have no idea but it made me question why they are so insistent people are not allowed to leave without this additional appointment. Before and after teeth cleaned nothing difference they just want you to spend more money deep cleaning $1900 or more..not recommended

I found Reign through Groupon, for a cleaning and fluoride treatment. I hadn't been to the dentist in at least 5 years, to be honest. They welcomed me with open arms and performed the cleaning flawlessly. They responded to any pain I was having while making my teeth squeaky clean. Ran a couple of x-rays (and didn't make me take my nose ring out, thank you!) and noted that I had some emerging wisdom teeth that they'd like to take care of. Fast forward two months and I am up at 2am with blinding pain from my bottom wisdom tooth. I emailed them at 2am and had a response by 9am, with an appointment the following day, despite the virus lockdown causing problems for everyone, they were able to see me almost immediately. Unfortunately they didn't sedate me (not their fault, should have gone to an oral surgeon for that) for the removal but their bedside manner was remarkable. I have never felt more comforted or understood in a clinical environment. Dr. Caparas could probably pull teeth in a wartime field clinic, and still not hit a nerve. I'm not kidding - I am terrified of dental work and they made this experience PAINLESS. I even laughed during the process. Thank you all! read more

I hardly ever leave reviews, but I was SO happy with my visit to Reign Dental that I wanted to! I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years and I was so worried about the health of my teeth and how much work I would need done. Christina was super cool and she restored my poor coffee-stained teeth to the whitest I ever remember them being! Dr. Shin was very kind and answered the questions I had. They didn't make me feel bad about waiting so long for a visit and they only made one recommendation for a filling which I had anticipated, based on sensitivity I had been having. I went here for a check-up and X-rays. Boy, they were laying on the hard and upsell sell as if I was buying a car. They were rushing me to schedule an appointment for major work (that couldn't wait, per their advice). After speaking to various friends and family members, and finding out their prices for nitrous were outrageous ($75), I cancelled my appointment. Best decision I've made in a long time. I found another dentist in Tacoma (Dr. Bilikas), who not only said the major work could wait, but that nitrous usually costs less than $30 from most dentists, sometimes even in the $15 range. Dr. Bilikas was also able to remove my wisdom teeth, saving me a lot of money and preventing me from having to go under anesthesia and receive a bill from an oral surgeon! It was only as expensive as a regular tooth extraction vs thousands of dollars! The feeling I got at Hopkins & Shin left me feeling very uncomfortable and worried about being overcharged. A dentist that would overcharge for something as simple as nitrous (that some people really need due to anxiety) is a dentist I have no desire to see. read more

Dr. Hopkins does a very great job. He is fast and procedures go smoothly. His staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I never have to wait in the waiting room for long. They are quickly and effectively able to answer all of my questions about what needs to be done and why. I never have felt pressured by anyone to "buy" anything or to do treatment that I am not comfortable with. I highly recommend this office to anyone. read more

They do excellent work but the customer relations stink. I had been going here for several years and received a lot of very good dental work. Reign Dental bought the business and things changed. Where it used to be a little more laid back it is now production dentistry. More patients in the chairs than there are dentists to see them. So you wait. My last visit didn't go well. I had a root canal that I had a problem with. The doctor said I may have some swelling because of the procedure. 4 hours later when I called them to tell them I was having a lot of swelling, I was told the doctor said he did all he can do. I went to the ER 3 hours later and spent 3 days in the hospital. All I wanted was to see him to get some advice. Cancelled my remaining appointments and found someone else. Oh yeah, the out-of-pocket estimate for the root canal was $2019. Plus the hospital bill I now have to pay. read more

I've been going to them for a few years now and everyone is always so polite and friendly. In the past I've bounced around from dentist to dentist before and have never really stuck with a place, but at Dr. Hopkins' office they actually seem to care about their patients. They never make me feel guilty if I let it go too long between visits or about the condition of my teeth and I really appreciate that. I almost never have to wait and if I do it's for only a few minutes, so I feel like they value my time and they're not trying to just cram as many patients into one day as they can. I feel like they're reasonably priced and pretty much what you would expect to pay for general dentistry. I don't use their sedation so I can't comment on that. I will happily continue to go to Dr. Hopkins and would recommend them. read more

My name is adam vogland. As a person who is absolutely terrified of dental work and only goes in when an emergency comes up this place is the real deal. Dr shin is by far the best dentist in the state. He will in detail explain everything that's going on in person or on the phone. They go at your pace, never rushes to get through the procedure. They give you breaks whenever you need one (which I do do to fear) the last review was about how they pressure you and prices. There prices are a little higher then other places but with that said the service you get is given by no other place. Give this place a try and you will never go anywhere else. Nothing but good things to come for this place. Awesome is the word to describe the Dr and staff. Lifetime patient without a thought. Also they are very honest they did not once try to pressure me into something I don't need. And they have always went with the cheaper option even though a more expensive option was not out of the question. Thank you Dr shin you have helped me more then you know. read more
