    Very professional and polite. AC went down, came out in a few hours the same day I called. Very reasonable charge as well!

    Saturday April 30th 6:30 PM…read moreB & C Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. was contacted to come out for service call. The business committed to "fix" the air conditioning unit. Chris the technician came out to diagnose the issue. The air conditioning unit was completely out of Freon. He told my mother it must have a leak. He said would fill it with Freon to get her through the weekend and come back Monday to fix the problem. The temperature in the house never got below 87 degrees from Saturday when he added 7 lbs. of Freon "to get her through to Monday." I called another company to get a second opinion because 12 hours later it was still 87 degrees in the house. They informed us there was a leak in the outside unit which means the whole unit needs to be replaced to fix the problem. Informing us that adding Freon would be a total waste because it will not hold it with the nature of the problem also informed us the compressor was not working either. Therefor just adding Freon would never fix this issue. Chris the technician from B & C showed up Monday to fix the air conditioning unit. Mother informed him his services were no longer needed. He then proceeded to scam my elderly mother out of $500 by charging her 665 dollars for his service call on Saturday when he knowingly added Freon to a unit with a large leak! He then said he would cut her a deal and only charge her $500 which she paid in cash because he was at her house demanding payment. Please help us stop this gross negligent action from happening to anyone else. Procced with extreme caution.

On the phone they said it would be $49; however, after which they charged $95- the guy who came out literally just drew a line through it and charged more for NO WORK they claim there was nothing wrong. Besides the price flip for no work and after the fact without being informed I now have to call a REAL Air conditioning company to have it fixed because it is definitely not working. They are scammers DO NOT USE THEM!!

Should be reported on Ripoff.com. Cohearse customers into getting a maintenance plan to get discounts on services and or parts and is totally misleading. The techs we had come out are not well qualified to handle repairs, testing, or even talk with folks correctly. I gave them 289.00 for a contract and have gotten nothing out of it. My wife and I feel like we should report to BBB. But posting in places like this and telling everyone to steer away is more effective. Recently we had a leak on outside coil, they never offered to repair only wanted to replace. The price to replace was outrageous. I called another HVAC company, the coil was easily repaired and all is running efficiently. I wasted so much money with this company. Now since this review has been posted here and on other formats, they have been calling. Excuses are not results and I don't need to hear any of those. If they want the complaint rectified, send out an apology letter with a refund of the cost of the service contract. You had is over a chopping block with the irresponsible service and responses to our issue. Now that the public can read our concerns we have the sword. In this day and age of no loyalty, laziness and price gouging Brooks should needs to be aware, they have lost a customer for life. You have our address your welcome to send the refund to that.
