It was about 7pm on Saturday and she says, oh I just finished wine tasting an hour ago with my friends and I have nothing left. I want to close in a half hour. I told her I was sorry, that we were coming at the times posted on her website and front door. I said, then we will each just try a glass of wine. She told my sister that she needed to get over drinking sweet wines, as they were nothing but sugar and bad for you. She told her to get a better palate so she could enjoy the better wines. She said she didn't have any sweet wines open, but she'd give her a moscato. I said I'd try any dark red. My sisters moscato was so sweet it almost tasted salty and my red had no flavor.
