He loves to talk about himself and his family more than listening to what his patients have to say. Plus the office never called us to go over xray results. The front office is no better. Twice they overcharged me, and they messed up my son's appointment by mixing up his name/DOB with someone else's and then we had to wait around 45 minutes to be seen because they had to change the appointment time because of their mistake. You couldn't pay me to ever set foot in this office again. Kody has no business working with other humans, and the front office is completely incompetent.

The staff was incredible!!! We never felt rushed, and they treated us so kindly. My little guy ended up having to come back for 3 days for antibiotic shots and each time they welcomed us with so much kindness. On the 3rd day I had started feeling ill too. They were able to check me for strep and get me taken care of as well. They also hooked my little guy up with the most fun little goody bags each time. She had two hospitalizations in Portneuf and we were able to experience several of the pediatricians that practice at the Children's Clinic. The performance of Doctors Yost, Murdock and Parsons prompted us to move our pediatric care to the Pocatello Children's Clinic. We eventually had to take my daughter to Primary Children's in SLC, but that was only after the Pediatricians (some of which trained at Primary Children's) at Portneuf reached the end of their diagnostic capabilities. This isn't a poor reflection on the pediatricians at Portneuf. The level of specialty needed for my duaghter's case doesn't exist in every hospital. She needed to be at a place like Primary Children's in SLC with TEAMS of specialty pediatricians. My daughters diagnosis and treatment took three medical teams, specializing in Infectious Diseases, Primary treatment and Neurology. In summary, the pediatricians at Portneuf and Pocatello Children's Clinic were excellent. They also know when, for the sake of the patient, to start consulting with other medical resources such as Primary Childrent's.

After he joined the Clinic we were forced to seek care at the Children's Clinic, but couldn't keep Dr Yost and were assigned Dr Fulks. Dr Fulks is nice with the kids, but keeps misdiagnosing ailments. After multiple visits with Dr Fulks that were useless we tried to change to Dr Yost, but the clinic wouldn't allow us too. If anything serious comes up with our kids we may be forced to seek care in Idaho Falls.

Riddell is the most arrogant, pompous person I have ever interacted with. Recently, I brought my nephew in to see Dr. Riddell and because he has a complicated medical history, including substance exposure (at birth) Dr. Riddell threatened to call the Department of Family Services--for what reason? I have no idea. Please understand, I, myself, am a social worker and infant mental health specialist and as part of my day job I screen children for abuse and neglect. Dr. Riddell wouldn't listen to what I had to say--he yelled at me in the exam room and stormed off when I demanded a valid explanation for his "concerns" regarding my nephew--which he couldn't provide. As I was about to leave, he all of the sudden wanted to discuss the situation with me--but only after I demanded to know his state medical license number from the front desk. I have never been treated worse in my life, as a patient and as a person. This man is arrogant--and worse--apparently he is the owner of this practice? If this is the way he can treat me, as a mental health professional and child advocate, I have no idea how he must be treating everyone else. I am not someone who ever writes reviews, but I feel such a strong obligation to warn other parents and family members about this man that here I am writing my first review of anything, ever. Do not trust this doctor, he will not listen to you, he will simply judge you based on his ego and arrogance. I will never take a child to this practice, ever again.
