It's not by any means a luxury resort, but the service provided by the hotel personnel is top notch. Clean rooms, a varied breakfast buffet, a decent pool area and the nicest beach of the Menorcan west coast is right outside the hotel door. The beach actually draws quite a few locals as well, but it still doesn't get too crowded. The restaurant on the ground floor with its patio towards the beach is open to everyone and offers remarkably good meals at sensible prices. Everything from sandwiches to main dishes and drinks is masterfully crafted, and the relaxed atmosphere makes your stay even more enjoyable. After trying out a handful of restaurants from Cala en Bosc to Ciutadella, we still ended up at the hotel restaurant most of the evenings - it simply stood out as the best of the bunch. The dedicated staff of the hotel work from early morning to early night to make your stay memorable and delightful, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! P.S. This secluded hotel is located right on a cliff overlooking the sea. The rooms are spread out among two buildings. The beach house which sits right in front of the water and another building which is more towards the pool. There is a heated pool, a non heated pool, jacuzzis, sauna, Turkish bath and plenty of lounge chairs in many locations among the property. Also, there are stairs leading down to the sea if you'd like to go for a dip in the Mediterranean! The whole property is very tranquil and relaxing. Just walking around the hotel grounds I found enjoyable, specially with the breathtaking views of the sea. From the moment we checked in the staff here was exceptional. Time to time they would check in and make sure everything was ok with our stay. The breakfast that's included is one of the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. You have to option to order hot dishes cooked to your preference. Omelettes, eggs Benedict, poached, scrambled, crepes etc. There is also a buffet style assortment of fresh fruits, meats, bread and more on the inside. Seating is outside where a server tends to you. Taking your orders for coffee and anything you'd like off the hot menu. I chose to get an hour massage during my stay and it did not disappoint. The therapist, who I wish I could name, did a tremendous job. She really was a professional in her trade. Prices are a little high but it's at a 5 star hotel what can you expect? I found it to be worth it because it made my stay even more relaxing. Now on to the rooms. We stayed in a double deluxe in the beach house. The interior is very nice and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable too. I'll include some attached pics later. I feel like the pictures on the hotels website don't do the rooms justice. Our room was facing the sea. View was incredible. The sound of the waves so soothing we chose to leave the windows down throughout a majority of our stay. Overall, I highly suggest a stay at this hotel whether it's for one night or a whole week. First of all, the views from the main building are absolutely stunning. Think panoramic views of ocean and sand with a beautiful pool that looks like it's floating in the ocean. That alone had me obsessed, but then I saw my room. When staying you can book in the main building, or the suites located in a passageway across the street which you access underground. We booked a room in the main building and got upgraded to the ocean view which was awesome. The room was quite large, with a large separate bathroom space which had the toilet and shower in one room with a tub and sink in the entryway which was great for girls sharing a room. We were also able to add a cot to the room for an extra 125 Euro a night and even with that, the room felt spacious. There is not a lot of natural light, as the one window that we had was super small, but the stunning views made up for it. The service from the folks at the hotel was super friendly. They offer room service, a spa, breakfast every day (include with suites or a la carte with a regular room), and amazing poolside service. I also love that you can go into the ocean straight from stairs attached to the pool. I really enjoyed my stay here. If you want to splurge a little and enjoy the views and amenities this is the perfect spot. It was great to unwind here amidst some jam-packed wedding festivities.

Maricel looks like an old palace, but it was built in 1948 to look that way. Back in the day, movies stars and royalty stayed here. It closed in the 80s and then reopened in 2002 with expanded rooms. Most rooms have terraces and ocean views. There is an infinity pool, a bar and cabanas that are busy in season. You can get massages in treatment nooks overlooking the water. There is a restaurant that serves incredible breakfasts and lunches. The main spa facility also has a separate business center for retreats and events. That area accessible by tunnel is mid century modern, but the overall aesthetic is neo-classical. The staff are friendly and discreet from the front desk to the restaurant servers to the cheerful maids who do a very thorough job maintaining the rooms. You even have a pillow library to pick just the right one for a good night's sleep. The bathroom is white marble with a soaking tub and dual handheld / rain shower. We stayed in #14, one of the best on the property.

Breakfast consisted of a buffet style including meat, cheese, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, fresh juices, and coffee. You also have the choice to order hot breakfast from the kitchen which is made to order. Room was cleaned daily and was prepared for bed each night. Facilities in the hotel were great. The gym had all standard equipment. The bonus of this hotel is being able to step onto a beautiful beach which the Hotel restaurant looks over. There is also a second beach a five minute walk away offering many sun beds, water sports, and two beach front eateries/ bars. We will 100% be returning to this hotel. The staff here go beyond!

Upon arrival we were running a little behind so they got us a different golf cart to respect our time. We got an amazing table in front of the water and the food was delicious! We got pasta and a salad. We opted on the lunch menu for the views but could not fathom how dreamy it must be during a sunset. We went late September and the temperature was great. They are very attentive of your needs and respect your space. The hotel is incredible and hopefully will get to stay there in the future!
