It had a decent texture but lacked the brightness I expect of fresh gelato. Also, the two flavors tasted awfully similar to each other....if it weren't for the chocolate chunks in the stracciatella, I wouldn't have been able to know which was which. The gelato I had the day before in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer was so much better.
