Comfortable Hauptbahnhof stay This is a clean and…read morecomfortable chain hotel just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof. It's just 2 blocks away from the South entrance - which you should use because it's closer and safer. Most the homeless drug addicts seem to congregate in the street in front of the main entrance. We had a superior best view room with a superb view of the Frankfurt skyline. The room was small, basic and the fittings were a little dated. The bathroom was small but functional and we loved the rainshower. We arrived very early and we were very happy that the reception staff allowed us to check into our room straight away. The area around the hotel seems really safe, but if you want to eat or shop nearby you have to head towards the dodgy Hauptbahnhof. The bed was super comfortable so this is a good value option for a short stay near the Hauptbahnhof!

Great hotel and breakfast here. Just checked out to get to the airport. Room is clean and the…read moreview is fantastic. We were on 18th floor so we got lucky! Breakfast buffet is 24 euro each but well worth it. Talk about variety!!! The location is really good. Close to the central station but the hotel is in a good neighborhood. 10 minutes walk to the station. Just know Frankfurt is a big city and the scene could be different depending on which street you are on. You just need to use common sense and you'll be just fine!!!

The lobby is stunning and the room, was comfortable and clean. I love the way that the electricity only comes on in the room if you insert your room key into the device by the door. Keeps you from accidentally leaving lights or the tv on when you are not there. The room was small, but the bed was comfy and the view was sweet! We were right across from a mall and a busy road, but it was quiet. We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked nice. The front desk personnel spoke fluent English - which was nice as our newly "learned" German was apparently terrible over there. The price was very reasonable.

I've stayed at several Motel One locations, and have had only good experiences. This location is…read morethe closest one to the main station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof). It's around a 15 minute walk from the station to the hotel. Of all the locations I've been to, I think this one has a better lobby and bar. With other hotels and the convention center nearby, it's really easy to call a taxi or car service and the front desk staff is more than happy to help. I noticed that this latter service is much more obvious in this location compared to others. The customer service is incredible; five-star treatment. The staff are fluent in English, which is of great help. They've helped me find a nearby shoe repair shop along with the usual tourist recommendations of restaurants and sights. An added benefit is the Skyline Plaza right across the street, which is incredibly convenient. It's a good mall that even includes a Chipotle if you want a little taste of home (assuming you're also from the US).

The location of the hotel is wonderful. It is quiet and near good restaurants and the subway. So…read morefar the good. Now for the bad: At checkout the cleaning staff had written down that we had taken a bottle of water. This was not true. The water was very expensive and the tap water is perfectly drinkable so we have no need to take the bottle. We told them it was a mistake and then the cleaning staff was called. The cleaning lady told the reception that she had taken an empty bottle from our room. The only person that could have emptied a water bottle in our room was the cleaning lady herself. There was no empty bottle! The hotel said that we had to pay for the bottle, at which point we got angry and said we would just leave. We waited five more minutes so the reception could make another call before we could finally leave. Not paying anything for water we did not use offcourse! More bad stuff: The air in the room is very dry and full of dust. It made us cough and snore all night. The beds are very hard. There is no place to put shampoo while in the shower. The beds are not made up. I have my own pillow. The bad cleaning staff just throws their (less clean) pillow on top of mine instead of placing it somewhere else on the bed. Please look for another hotel in the same area (subway leipzigerstrasse and bockenheimer wache is the area).

I was there back in August 2012 for about 10 days I think. I had booked well in advanced and for…read morethe number of days I stayed it was not expensive. The room I had was spacious. Double bed, more than enough space to store my luggage and clothes. TV (if you care), free internet, though there was some occasional connection dropout. Desk and armchair. I had the air conditioner too. The flat is well located, not far from Bockenheimer station (3 minutes' walk), which is great when you have to drag your bag. You can reach the city centre quickly. From the location I could visit Frankfurt and around (Heidelberg, Sanktgoarhausen, Wiesbaden). The neighbourhood is quiet, at least at night, since I wasn't in during the day. The street lights are no problem. If the curtain is not enough, you can pull down the blinds. It is safe too walking back alone at night (well, I felt so anywhere I went in Germany, as far as I could travel in any case). The room was always clean (i didn't mess up either, mind you). The receptionists were efficient and welcoming. You do have to pay extra for breakfast. But I always eat outside, even for breakfast, so no big deal. I did try the breakfast once. It was fine and generous enough for me. So all in all a very pleasant experience.
