Can I put a negative number for a review here?? This place is so poorly run it's not funny. We were never seen at our appointment time. The closest we ever got to our appointment time was 1.5 hours after the scheduled time. No apologies given. no acknowledgement that they were running behind. I did not have any respect or trust for my son's psychiatrist. She did not remember my son or anything we talked about in previous sessions. Each time we had an appointment we started from scratch. It got to the point we were diagnosing at home and tell the doc what to prescribe. The office staff is constantly undergoing change. People are bailing, quitting left and right. The problem with this facility isn't the doctor/providers. It is the kids they have working at the front desk. I can't tell you how many times I have called for something for instance the last call I made was over two weeks ago. The doctor was supposed to write a note for my son for my insurance company and i was supposed to pick it up but was unable to so asked that they mail it to me. Oh sure no problem they said. I am still waiting for the letter. The front desk are pretty much underaged or barely 18 yr old. They are friendly but they AFTER THEY ACKNOWLEDGE WHAT YOU NEED THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. The owner is usually on station within the clinic and is very aware but my thought is that she is getting what she pays for and doesn't seem to care. read more

Wow, just wow. This place is such a mess. Had an appointment set up and when I called to confirm they said my doctor had left and his partner had died and they had brought in a temporary doctor to fill in until replacements could be found. Saw him once and explained my situation to him, but he didn't seem to have a clue or care. So I lined up another doctor and called to cancel my next appointment which is next week and they tell me "That doctor isn't here anymore, he got fired." Yeah, that doctor was a tool, but I'm pretty sure telling me that he was fired isn't very professional. If I wasn't crazy already, dealing with these people would have done it. read more

I have nothing but contempt for this place. At the time, it was the only place that we could realistically go to on a regular basis, so we put up with their nonsense for almost a year. Now before I go into detail, I think it's important to clarify that these people are DOCTORS. They're tasked with treating a wide variety of mental illnesses; they hold their patients' mental health in their hands. This is why I am so appalled by the way their business is run. A kid messes up my sandwich? No big deal. A store charges my card twice for one purchase? It sucks, but it'll get fixed and I'll live. My wife's mental health suffers due to incompetent staff? Unbelievable. First, let's address actually GETTING an appointment here. You'll want to start by calling... Just don't call at any time in the middle of the day, as it appears both people at the front desk take lunch at the same time for a 5-hour period. Don't bother leaving a message, they won't call back. Just keep calling until you finally get a hold of someone, who will schedule your first visit for next month. A month goes by and you go to your appointment, arriving 15 minutes early to take care of any paperwork. After an hour of waiting with no explanation, you finally meet with your therapist/psychiatrist (in my wife's case, she needed to see both, which doubled the amount of painful visits), who will try their hardest to get you out the door as soon as possible. Wonderful, isn't it? I understand that the average psychiatrist appointment is short due to the nature of their job, but they have no right to cut the hour-long therapy sessions we paid for short. But hey, if anything major comes up that you couldn't cover in your session, "you can call me directly any time"... Lies. First, read up a couple paragraphs and you'll see how difficult it is to get a hold of the office. The doctor won't answer their cell. The front desk won't answer their phones. If they do, they will forward you to a voicemail so you can "leave a message for the doctor", and that message will never be returned. How can they do this? Seriously... How can someone sit there, listen to some crying over the phone begging for help, and just decide to never respond? What kind of sick individuals would do this? Okay okay, I exaggerate a bit... No one is sitting there ignoring cries for help. They're just ignoring the messages entirely. My wife tried to call them as instructed whenever something came up, and after a few months the voice mailbox was full, never to be emptied. So I bet you're thinking, "These doctors must suck!" right? Well, to be honest, not entirely... This is actually where it just gets weird. When we first went there, both the therapist and psychiatrist seemed kind and knowledgeable, but seemed to be struggling to work around ITIC's poor management. If put in a professional environment in which the staff answered the phones, properly relayed messages, and staggered appointments in a way that prevented significant overlap, I imagine they would do quite well. Too bad... But I did say it gets weird, didn't I? My wife's therapist disappeared... No, I'm not making this up. She just disappeared. When we went to our appointment, they informed us that she simply never came back from vacation and they couldn't make contact with her (note that they didn't call and tell us BEFORE I took time off work to drive down to the office...). Similarly, my wife's psychiatrist simply up and retired with no prior notice given to the office or his patients. I think this shows just how little he cared for the people that relied on him. The final straw was the replacement psychiatrist... A patronizing, forgetful woman of dubious intellect. I don't know how she got the job, but after several visits in which she literally did not remember my wife and was unfamiliar with the medicines she had been taking, we called it quits. Ultimately, I feel this place did more harm than good to my wife's mental health. We both agree that since seeking help elsewhere, everything has been so much better. She actually gets to see people who care and will give her the time she needs in a stress-free environment... I just don't understand why that's too much to ask of ITIC. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. They incorrectly billed the insurance and made us do all the legwork to fix it. We provided them an insurance case # and told them the insurance is waiting for their call. 6+ months later, they never called the insurance using the case number and now want us to fix their billing issue. They charge your insurance for more services than were provided in order to pad their books, which is fraud. When you make an appointment for medication only, they provide you 30 minutes but do not explain up front what the costing is for that 30 minutes. Here is a quote from their owner Ryan " On the billing, there is typically 2 components in psychiatry type visits. There is the evaluation portion that deals with primarily medication which can be compared to a doctors visit for someone who is sick and then with psychiatry visits the patient typically spends more than 10 minutes with the provider to discuss other stressors they are dealing with in their life and possibly coping strategies." These charges equate to $150 for the "evaluation portion" and then another $85 for the "other undefined portion" This equates to $235 for 30 minutes with no time tracking mechanism to show how they are billing people. Their "owner" Ryan Morris is a rude, demeaning woman hater that talked down to my wife. Seriously, this guy owns a mental health facility? read more

This place is horribly ran, they are totally disorganized. Do not waste your time because you will be doing a lot of it going there.

My son required treatment and the only place that my insurance would pay for was here. So at first everything went well. His appointments were mostly on time and there didn't seem to be too many issues. ITIC has a policy that if you are late to your appt. you will be fined. However, after a few months as a regular patient, each time we had to wait an excess of an hour over the appt time in order to be seen. There was no apology or excuse. My sons last appointment we were waiting for close to two hours before deciding to leave. We were asked if we wanted to make another one but we said no since we decided not to come here again. We did not receive an apology or excuse as to why we were not seen in a reasonable time. Understand that the staff and doctors are pleasant enough, but I just don't have the time to waste sitting in a waiting room. read more

The previous 2 reviewers are correct - the office management in this place is ATROCIOUS. It seems to be getting better though, not sure. But we like the doctor and especially the nurse practitioner, they get us in for an appt. quickly and are very smart. So far so good. (cross your fingers) read more
